The 9/18 edition of ECW on Sci Fi scored a 1.4 cable rating, according to Nielsen Media Research. Last week's episode also scored a 1.4 rating.

Sigh...
I hope that it goes up eventually.

We need some Nielson boxes....
It was a good ECW, too.

not bad considering RAW was down a million viewers, ECW retained its audience even with the show being built around an awful main event

Thought ECW was great, especially with the tremendous 4 way match, had decent build with the Balls/ Miz feud (although Mike Know and Miz need to tag up and ditch Kelly Kelly and feud with Balls and tag team partner(jacob Duncan maybe?) oh and the main event was passable, Big Daddy V made it okay as only he could and was enjoyable squash. A preety good show.
However is it me or is ECW starting to resemble Nitro form 1995. It has a big PPV quality main event every week, an annoying color commentator, and having the same people on every show, yet it's better than Raw. The similarities are uncanny! I almost expect Joey Styles to give away spoilers to Smackdown.

I almost expect Joey Styles to give away spoilers to Smackdown. He HAS done that! This is spooky.

Uh oh, if that's true then they are going to assume that Punk doesn't draw and they will defiantely put the belt back on The Black Hole of Heat.

Maybe Punk only draws when he's chasing.

I haven't watched wrestling in ages, but it will be interesting to see how this affects the product. Small cable channels might be plenty happy with mid-ones.

What were the ratings before Punk became champ? 1.6-1.7 Actually, that's misleading, it had done 1.3s at times when Morrison was champ if you remember.... Everytime Punk would lose to Morrison the ratings would go DOWN! Remember the rating after Summerslam, when Punk lost the title match? It went to it's lowest rating ever, a 1.3... And when punk won the title the ratings jumped .4, to a 1.7

And given that they hyped BDV vs. Boogeyman more than anything else, I don't think this past week is any indication of Punk's drawing power.
