Ummm they have been losing money, why do you think Vince is no longer a billionare (Despite what Vince says)? Then let the WWE wither up and die. Then we'll just have to tune in elsewhere and bitch about the mistakes of the next company in line. Oh so we should shut up and let WWE ruin any potential future they have as a company?

He beat the freaking tag champions. Many people want to see a competitive, exciting tag division, and the only way to do that is to book the tag champions, and the division, to look competitive and interesting. They did the exact opposite here. The people who want exciting tag matches are, not surprisingly, upset. However, when your division is 2 or 3 teams (are the Highlanders still employed?) and they are given this treatment 3 times or so a year, why expect anything better? It just seems like you'd be setting yourself up for a bad fall. So you're telling us that we should accept their half assed booking?

If I may add my two cents, all this top heavy booking with Cena and HHH would be fine if those being beaten had solid characters that allowed them to be over in spite of their loss. Russo, for all of his faults (and I'm not in anyway suggesting he return) understood that. Austin could stun anybody on Raw back in the day and the next week they'd still be over just for gimmick and character alone.
But in this era where half the roster lacks direction and the guys who can still get heat in spite of losses (Kennedy/Booker) suspended, this is what you get.

And here I thought this would be the one thing that we'd all agree on. No matter how glaringly obvious something is, there's always someone ready to slip on their Devil's advocate hat here. Lord love ya.
That said, I think I would have accepted the Austin-esque turn, if it was just one guy he was laying out. But how can one man lay out two guys at once? After beating two other guys at once? Therein is the issue here. It wasn't so much that he was channeling Stone Cold, it's just the sheer magnitude of ass he kicked effortlessly at once, for absolutely no real reason. I can't believe there's people who just don't see that. And I say this as a huge Triple H fan. It's pointless booking.

I don't know how you were raised, but I was raised to believe that when I put money into something, I should get quality in return. And when I don't get quality, I have the right to voice my disapproval.

I think I'll take the advice given from a few people here and stop watching WWE once again. The illegitimate son brought me back in, but that disappointed me too.

Ah well, I'm about done for the night. If the WWE doesn't want to fix itself, then let it die. It's not our job to continue supporting something blindly in hopes that it gets better. If this is what we have to do to change them, then screw that, as it's not worth it. There's plenty of better stuff elsewhere.
Me? I'm going to continue to watch it either way, as it's just what I do. If you don't like how someone is getting buried or whatnot, then don't watch it. Vote with your remote, and WHEN you return, I'll be here waiting for you.
See you next week, same RAW time, same RAW thread!
EDIT: And to Kingofoldschool, I agree with you. Voice your disapproval. But voicing it to us here, doesn't do anything. Voice it to the company who is causing said disapproval. I don't know where you were raised, but where I was raised, if we had a problem, we took it up with whomever it might involve, not just saying it to a bunch of your friends and doing nothing else about it otherwise. If you don't like the WWE, tell them about it, not us, and you'll see exactly where your money is going: to a giant corporation who likely doesn't care about your opinion. Kinda disheartening, hmmm?

And hell even Stone Cold had times where he didn't just randomly stun the person(s) helping him fend off the heels.

Here's how I look at this. I'm often times a guy that think there's too much negativity on the board towards WWE's product, but in this case, I absolutely agree that this is bad booking.
The decision to have Triple H defeat the tag team champions clean in a handicap match was questionable at best.
What I find even worse though, is having him defeat Carlito in the match where Carlito could use weapons and not get DQ'ed but Triple H could. And they're continuing the feud. This should've been a match where Carlito won, and then Triple H gets his revenge at some point when the playing field is leveled. That would make sense. This does not. Under the circumstances, why should anyone think Carlito could ever beat Triple H? This is just bad booking, because it fails to build interest in the feud.
Instead, Triple H has already beaten Carlito with the deck stacked against him. Now the heel wants revenge? I'm really failing to see what kind of sense that makes. That is not the way to build a feud. I don't claim to be an expert at booking wrestling, but if anything I've said doesn't make sense, please tell me.

How dare you not approve of something someone else thinks is great! All kidding aside, your post rules. Sums up my feelings exactly. We as customers earn the right to complain when we're not satisfied. Nothing ever gets changed when you run away.

no one is stupid enough to expect a 5star match in a handicap match. This will have no effect on the tag team division.C&M may be the champs, but they are nowhere near HHH.
It's not uncommon for a top superstar to dominate multiple opponents.Even Hogan was killing 2 jobbers at a time in his early wwe days. They want to re-establish HHH as the massive star he's been for the last ten years, and doing so gradiually,as opposed to just shoving him back out there in the main event winning the belt 1st day back.THAT would be stupid. So he beats some midcard guys instead..Carlito is IC champ at his peak,Murdoch is just some fat dude, and Cade is pretty generic..Tag team champs or not,no one in that ring was the level of a HHH,or Rock,Austin,HBK,etc.
If it wasnt HHH everyone would be pretty cool with it.In fact,it was just about a year ago Umaga was slaughtering everyone in sight and people were all for it,and he was just a big guy with a cheesey gimmick. This is just a situation where people can take cheap shots on HHH,because he can do no good for the IWC.

Sidenote:
Why should I care about next week's cage match?
I see no reason to care. None at all.

You know, I was going to try and make an argument disagreeing with that but, yes I am saying that. When the WWE has given you no reason to care or watch the show/division (not my case but, several other have seem to be saying that), why waste any of your short life on watching and then bitching about? It seems like those that continue to watch have accepted the "half assed" booking already.

Okay, I don't know if you have kids or not, but let's say you do. Your kid gets bad grades in school, you know they can get at least a B average, but they just aren't trying to do their best. You voice your disapproval, they say they are trying, but in all reality you know they are lying out of their ass. However, you don't do anything drastic because you hope they turn the corner. Next report card comes and it's still the D average they got before. What are you going to do? You are going to rip them a new one, help them get their ass in gear and tell them to live up to their potential. That's what I see here, the company CAN do better. It's like they have booking dyslexia. Now you can't hold their hand and do the work for them, but some day they will get their act together. But shutting up and not say anything in one form or another will just be counterproductive.

It seems like those that continue to watch have accepted the "half assed" booking already. And one final note, I watch Raw more out of habit than anything, but like TNA, and since last night, Smackdown, I'm likely gonna put Raw on hold for a few weeks. Starting next week, I am going to vote with my remote, and turn it off. I'll go play Illusion of Gaia or Wii Sports instead. ECW will more than cover my WWE fix. If you really don't like how the WWE is going currently, then let them know through an email or letter or something, and IF they respond to you, then feel free to tell us what they say in return. I'm sure that IF they respond, you will be less than pleased, as the same applies for most giant corporations. They don't care about you. They care about your money. Until you come to grips with that and realize that you can (and likely will) be replaced by some snot-nosed 10 year old kid that buys all the Cena and Batista stuff, then you are in denial of yourself and what you believe the WWE should be. A company is out to do one thing: make money. In your hearts, you will do what you think you have to do, and that's a decision you will make for yourself. I made my decision. Now it's your turn. I know it sounds cheesy, but it's the most truthful thing that will come from this thread. Goodnight, for real this time ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

But shutting up and not say anything in one form or another will just be counterproductive. I'd find some way to help my kids. I understand if you don't like the product and want to change it some how but, a) I don't see how bitching about it on an internet message board helps and b) I don't see how still watching when the easiest and most obvious way is to cause change is stop spending money on them and stop watching the shows. I mean we saw a perfect example of this earlier this year when the phantom 2.4 rating came out and they started the Bastard Son angle and brought Vince back. I know a lot of people don't like Vince, but the ratings went up 1/2 a point which made WWE think they were on the right track. I guess what I am trying to say is that people continually bitch about the product but, still support it by watching it and spending money on it. To bring it back to the child analogy, I see it as your son getting those bad grades, and yelling at him but, letting him play sports and buying him a new car since you know he can do better.

A company is out to do one thing: make money. You still fail to realize that the WWE is not making the kind of money you think they are making. Buyrates suck, live attendence sucks, and the general TV ratings suck. You act like people are tripping over themselves to watch, that is not the case. Especially with the steroid investigation and the aftermath of the Benoit incident, pro wrestling as a whole is in a sad state of affairs. It's more like for every three people that stop watching, only one new viewer tunes in, if that.
