Oh man... one minute, the Tag Champs are coming out. I think to myself "I don't need to see two guys beat up one, I'm going to go into the other room and see how The Angels are doing."
Then when I get back, Triple H is standing triumphantly over London and Kendrick. That was definitely a WTF moment for me...

And to everyone that's in "OMG he's trying to rip off Austin now?" mode, Trips has done this ONCE now. That's 1 to 381,184,284.
Unless he starts doing this on a weekly basis, or starts beating Stephanie and driving drunk, then we can't really say he's ripping off Austin's gimmick. A one time deal is fine. 95% of the fans won't even remember this happened next year. Hardly a burial.

I try not to jump on the HHH hate-wagon but..that was too much. If you don't see that you are trying much too hard to play devil's advocate here.

I thought it was totally moronic, and i'm glad a few people agree. God forbid people don't sit back and swallow whatever crap is given to us and expect to cheer, shut up and do as we're all told like Reggie Jackson in Naked Gun.

I wasn't overly happy with it, but hell, it's Trips... he's great, and he's earned the right to do this kind of thing. Whatever, anyway, I'm not going to stop watching, just sit back and enjoy the ride... it's better than TNA. Fixed.

I've only watched a few RAW's (mostly for the undercard) and ECW's since Royal Rumble, and i don't watch TNA so your 'hilarious' edit does'nt work so well. I do want the show to get better and want to go back into regular veiwing which is why i've still occasionally watched but crap like this, Supercena, never ending Batista push, Orton's unfathomable push and the DX stuff last year put me off totally.

Personally, I feel that, even though TNA has its fair share of awfulness, it still feels fresher than the WWE. Their crap has been sitting in the bowl unflushed for six years. It's practically petrified by now.
The infuriating part is that, with Stephanie in charge of creative, it guarantees there will be no changes to the way things are currently done. There won't be a Vince Russo-esque figure who shakes Vince and tells him he's surrounded by yes-man and his product is stale. And, if there is, he'll be undermined left and right and shown the door (see: Heyman, Paul).
Here's to a lifetime of Triple H burials and McMahon family hijinx.

It's not entertaining to watch up-and-coming stars get handily taken out by one guy. As people have said before, making the low and mid-card wrestlers look like garbage only furthers the golfclap reaction they all get when their music hits. I remember when just about every wrestler on the card got a good to decent reaction. The reason was because they invested some creative energy into those wrestlers. Now it's only invested in a select few.
Still, this wasn't as bad as Lashley beating Orton and Kennedy in a handicap match early in the year. That was atrocious.

Well...
Carlito has been doing NOTHING for months, so a program agaisnt Triple H is far from a bad thing for him, even if he's getting his ass kicked most of the time.
Tag Teams are cannon fodder for main eventers, regardless of their status of Champions. Cade&Murdoch jobbed to Cena (Dx and Cena-HBK too IIRC) in various occasions, Londrick are kinda there without real direction, even while they were holding the Tag Belts on SD! While we're at it, Deuce and Domino are jobbing to a makeshift MVP-Hardy team...
So, I see the faulty logic behind such booking, where only Big Names matter BUT blaming it on Triple H's supposed umpteenth Burial Tour is the usual "selective perception", where we make a big deal of things depending on who's involved.

I can't seem to recall tag teams of the past being fodder. Steiners, LOD, Hart Foundation, Outsiders, NAO, Demolition. Those teams dominated, and people loved them for it.

Ah, I remember the good old days....like a couple of months ago when people were clamoring for HHH's return. What he pulled last night was not the end of the world but it did suck. Be careful of what you ask for, you might just get it.

Unfortunately, the concept of a color-coordinated tag-team with a team name died a long time ago. But a main-eventer on a hot streak beating up a popular tag-team isn't a new concept. Example being, Macho King Randy Savage fought the Ultimate Warrior in a steel cage match, which Warrior lost due to interference by Sherri. Warrior went batcrap crazy and attacked anything that moved. The Nasty Boys came in to help Savage, and they were thrown around like rag-dolls by Warrior. You could say how Warrior was burying them, but the Nastys went on to win the Tag Titles a few months later at WM VII.

So Triple H is a heel then? Seeing as he hit the pedigree on Londrick for no reason.

That was a looong time ago... Tag team wrestling is dead and buried nowadays, and only exist to: a) elevate single stars by pairing them for a while b) work as sidekick for single feuds c) keep "busy" Superstars with nothing better to do.

I don't see why he's being booked like this. He's buried five people in the space of two days, and for what? He certainly doesn't need the exposure, he's one of the most over guys on the roster.
What they should've done is at Unforgiven, Carlito would beat Triple H using the sledgehammer (which would get him tremendous heel heat) as Carlito was the only one allowed to use weapons. The next night, Carlito would host Carlito's Cabana and brag about what he did to Trips and also, his guests would be Cade & Murdoch. They would trash talk about Londrick and they enter to take out Cade & Murdoch but the number disadvantage would be too much for Londrick, so they're left laying.
So, as Triple H isn't there due to 'injuries', match is set up for next week: London, Kendrick and Triple H vs. Carlito, Cade and Murdoch. This would make Londrick seem more important because they are teaming with someone like Triple H and it would also get the champions and Carlito more over, especially if they would end up winning, setting up Trips vs. Carlito in a Steel Cage at the PPV (instead of next week) and Londrick vs. C&M for the tag belts.
At this point in his career, there's no need for Triple H to be an unstoppable monster.
