And don't forget it was Taker's first appearance on Smackdown in over 4 months, so the hype for his return probably helped as well.

What was with Michael cole saying that taker rarely makes an appearence on broadcast tv... WHAT? Yeah, I noticed that too...I hope it doesn't mean we're only gonna see him on Smackdown like once a month again. It really doesn't make much sense because before the injury he was back to a full-time schedule, especially when he won the title, so you'd think he'd just pick up where he left off. Hopefully it was just Cole not knowing what the hell he's talking about. |
