Seems like the World Title always turns the holder into an egotistical, paranoid, and greedy character.
This has been a recurring theme

It's actually the Soul Edge.
Jeff Jarrett is Cervantes De Leon, and Cage is Siegfried.

It's actually the Soul Edge. Jeff Jarrett is Cervantes De Leon, and Cage is Siegfried. Can Jeff Jarrett make flaming swords spin around his body while he crosses his arms and spits a cool victory line? I think not. And Cage can't lift a zweihander for all I know. With that said, very interesting post. The TNA Title really is the Soul Edge of title belts.

It didn't do that to Sting or Abyss or Killings or AJ or Shamrock Sting became an evil bastard who beat the crap out of Abyss to the point of DQ, it wasn't the typical Sting. Abyss became more obsessed with keeping the title. Killings thought the man was out to get him, and they were. AJ has won the title as a heel and well he would become a heel champ in his other reign aswell. cheating and other things. Shamrock well he just left. Jeff Jarrett... Christian.. This is the coolest concept in TNA the Main guy almost always becomes the biggest heel.

It's like the One Ring.
Eventually a stable will be formed who will have the intent of destroying the title. Another stable will seek to preserve the title and continue it's evil.

See that's why Sharkboy has never made a major challenge for the TNA World Title--he wants to remain of legitimate character

That is interesting. Now if TNA was smart we'd probably get a cool angle out of this...I'm not holding my breath.
