www.youtube.com/watch?v= CyYUCURU1HU TONY TONY TONY!!! I like when he gets in Tenay's face and just rips him. I don't care what anyone says Tony should be calling wrestling somewhere even though he is probobly happy calling Braves baseball on the radio.

He looks better with the sideburn goatee thing. Younger and stuff, maybe its the fact that he aint wearing some dumb suit.
And god damn Bearer was real fat...

I actually liked Heel Schiavone when this happened. This was that brief period when I was getting the weekly TNA PPVs, for free but yeah lol

Gotta break up the link due to language. I'll edit the post.

At least he sported a KISS shirt. Of the non-farewell tour no less.
EDIT: Also glad Bearer dropped that weight. Good for him.

Call me crazy, but I've always like Schiavone.
Granted, his putting stuff over skills were, shall we say, limited ("This is the greatest night in the history of our sport!"), but I've never found Tony to be near as awful as everybody else makes him out to be.
Perhaps that's just me.

Tony Shivonie looked like Dante Hicks from Clerks in that appearance.
I just wish he pulled the "Greatest Night" line somewhere in his interview.

Is any one else strangely soothed by Shivonie's voice?

The link didn't work for me. I don't miss Tony. I still believe he is one of the reasons wcw was not watchable by so many people's standards in 99 and 2000.

"Stand next to me, I need to look thin." Man, Schiavone makes a great heel. He needs to be in TNA right now.

Perhaps that's just me. So have I, I know it's the cool thing to bash him and sometimes it might apply, but I always enjoyed his work. EDIT: I remember marking out when Bischoff told J.R he had Schiavone on speed dial, I was thinking they would bring him in, but alas it didn't happen.

I think Tony Schiavonne gets more undeserved flack than anyone. He's a lot like JR. Yeah, sometimes Tony didn't sound very interested in what he does, but JR does that half the time too. The other half of the time they're both great. And that was an awesome heel promo. How dare the fans chant 'boring'.
