Slight improvement. I hope it continues to rise.

That's still rough.
And it probably also means a lot of people don't realize that John Cena is hurt.

I'm pretty convinced that last weeks drops just had to do with less wrestling fans having nielsen boxes that week than other weeks. I think pretty much every wrestling show dropped, except for Smackdown maybe, I'm not sure about that one.

Y'know what this means, right? TOMMY DREAMER=RATINGS!!! I'm sure WWE would rather give the credit to BDV. "Everyone knew BDV was going to come out at the end, that promo Striker did had them just waiting for it! And oh man, the fans were in AWE the entire time, they were SPEECHLESS!"

Maybe the entire package = ratings? Y'know... maybe? Can you at least consider that, instead of a... ah f*** it, why do I bother?

Forget it... nobody = shit. Everybody = something. BDV has been well booked, Punk has been well booked, Dreamer has been well booked... it's a well booked show. And yet people wander the f***ing wilderness crying about how "BDV WENT OVER DREAMER!!!". Dreamer has no real upside, and even he knows it. He's made a career out of doing the right thing for the business and the wrong thing for himself... he's the guy that gets screwed.

I'm anxious to see what the rating is for the next show.
The bait and switch aspect WWE has been pulling lately seems to really help out the ratings in the following weeks.

Spot on... y'know, if you give people what they want over and over, they'll just want more, and get sick of forever being given what they want. You NEED people like Dreamer to get screwed... worked for ECW, and works for WECW.

Also Vince's announcement had something to do with it. Like I put in the ECW thread Vince would improve ratings some but would get none of the credit.
If they would let Tommy keep his win and faced Punk at the PPV and win the title, The rating would probably improve just to hear what Tommy had to say as the new champ. Them poor Tommy would probably lose it to BDV or Morrison on the same show.

I haven't seen the show this week yet but I've been enjoying the "Elimination Chase" idea..
The first fatal four-way match was the best match I've seen on WWE TV in quite some time. I was very impressed. For the first time in my wrestling-watching life, I'm actually liking Mable..or Vicera..or BDV..?
I hope they doing something with Morrison when he returns. I was looking on my digital cable preview..menu..thing..and the only thing it said for the ECW show this week was
"John Morrison is featured"

You're all wrong.
Balls + Kelly Kelly = ratings.

Most people did not know he was going to be on, and I'm fairly sure that most wrestling fans still don't know Cena's hurt.

The promise of John Morrison = ratings. Now next week people will go "well, he didn't show up last time, he HAS to show up this time" and they'll watch again and again until he finally does show up.

Wait. Last Week's show got a 1.1? What the hell happened last week? Theories abound - the most prevalent was that a lot of shows premiered and dragged the rating down. My theory is that a paperthin roster with 1 title and no way for anyone to get over (because there are no big names on the roster for someone like CM Punk or Elijah Burke to beat) has finally turned the audience off because they see it as irrelevant.

Ratings will boom next week when John Morrison appears.
He's the Riser of Ratings, the Shaman of Sexy, the Tuesday Night Delight. He is John Morrison and he's your next ECW Champion.
