I was going to make the thread and call it "HEET HAWMP", but looks like I got beaten to it.
The next one should be called "KRUSH KRUSH KILL KILL DESTROY DESTROYDESTROYDESHASGJADSJ".

I'm inclined to think the demo is something of a "dumbed down" experience. Eliminating so many grapple moves is largely unnecessary, and I do believe a game company wouldn't do that without a spectacular reason. I never knew there was a single button to go-behind. You haven't had much experience with THQ, have you? They change their move setting EVERY YEAR so that it takes people a good two weeks to get used to it. Then, if they go back to another game, they're completely thrown off. At least most sports games I've played have kept the basic stuff the same, with different little things added in. THQ on the other hand, seems to want to change their schemes every year. And I don't see why the controls wouldn't be the same in a demo as they would be in the actual game. If they dumbed it down, then had something more complicated on release, they that'd be pretty disingenous of them. Nothing about this control scheme impresses me one bit. At least they give you options to use the old scheme. But it doesn't sound like I'm going to be using it much, for all the wrong reasons. And oh yeah. I DO want to go to war, too!

Yeah...I call bullcrap on the two week learning curve. Yeah, have you actually played it? Honestly it didn't take me any time to adjust to the new controls, but I've seen a LOT of people online b***h about them so, it's not just nitpicking, I just had an easier time than most. But like I said earlier, they've changed the controls to run and jump over the top rope to the floor and I tried for 2 hours and couldn't figure it out last night, at all.

One good thing about losing moves... we can finally create accurate CAWs of Hulk Hogan and Lex Luger!

I'm basing this on 2007, where the new control scheme got such a verbal beating on the Crap, with so many people "thanking god I can use the classic controls." I liked the new controls, and it did not take long to learn.

The grapples were easy, and they didn't change things like running dives that actually required more than one button press.

But I probably used the new control scheme twice before going back to the classic scheme. I'm think I'm more annoyed with the loss of moves, especially if I'm reading what Godz said right about the UC being mapped into the control scheme instead of being a seperate entity. Quit letting the facts get in the way of my vitrol!!

You know how like 150 moves were lost from 2k6 to 2k7?
I think we're losing even more now since now we only have 2 grapple catagories.
Ugh.

The Orton 2nd finisher vid isn't loading for me, can someone describe it?
And it really sucks that half the standing grapples are gone. I wasn't intending on getting it anyway, but that info convinces me that this game is a 100% certified no. Waste of money.

You walk up and hit Y, Lashley kicks Orton down, climbs up top and dives, Orton gets up, leaps, catches him in a mid air RKO.

Is it possible that the auto-mapping of the UC is done as a part of Undertaker's "special ability" or whatever?
