What did you all think og WWE taking the time to actually hype their Cody Rhodes/Hardcore Holly "Earn my Respect" feud?
I think it's nice for them to actually focus a bit on the feud and make it seem important. It's a nice turn of events from the old "MAIN EVENTERS! MAIN EVENTERS! LOOK! WE STILL HAVE MAIN EVENTERS!" style of commercials.
That's just me, though.

I'm glad they're actually doing something in the midcard again. It seemed like the main eventers were the cast of WWE, with everyone else being extras....

I think the difference here is it got its own ad, unlike most WWE ads where the main event is what they're announcing, and those other things just kinda get mentioned along with it.

Makes me happy, and I'm glad they didn't just drop it in light of recent events.

I like how they also (on PPV so far at least), hyped the BoD vs. MVP/Hardy match, since that is also midcard.

I liked the Hardcore Holly/Cody Rhodes "Earn the respect" angle more the FIRST TIME, when it was called the RIC FLAIR/CARLITO "Earn the respect" angle..
And countless others in the past.
Come on guys, can't you just put a Conquistador helmet on somebody and call him "The Mad something-or-other?"

Flair wanted Carlito to respect the business and himself. Holly justs wants to show a young punk that he doesn't belong. Carlito tried to show Flair that he could have a killer instinct. Cody is trying to show he is good enough to be in the big leagues. There are similarities, but also differences.
