Based on Nielsen's fast national numbers, last night's edition of Smackdown scored a 2.7 broadcast rating.
Gerweck.net
After a long span of 2.6, it looks like Smackdown is gaining momentum again.
Therefore, Rey & Taker will show up on Raw... ;D

Relax people it was a .1 Increase it's nothing major.
They are still in the 2's.
I bet it would get at least at 3 if it was shown on a night when half of the population arn't out.

Friday night is a really stupid night for the show to be on considering the demographic Smackdown is aimed at.
As such, this is actually a really good rating really. Just Raw that's suffering really then.

Relax people it was a .1 Increase it's nothing major. I find your lack of faith hope disturbing. Actually, I agree. But then again, isn't .1 supposed to represent like 100,000 people? Or did I make that up?

A .1 increase does mean a hell of a lot more people decided to watch. I don't know the exact number either, but more people deciding to watch is not a bad thing...that's...a good thing!

Excellent. You see, it just goes to show you that more people tune in for JBL's interviews. If JBL was wrestling again and somehow was the champion, they would score 6.5 ratings on a bad night.

When was the last time they broke a 3? I'm really still not sure how that viewing figure system works to be honest.

Maybe it's just the fact that injured stars returning = ratings?
When Batista and Khali were the only main eventers, it would be near impossible to put on consistantly new, fresh matches and episodes because there is only so much you can do with them. When they are the only 2 to really tune in for, the ratings will suffer. Luckily for Smackdown they had Matt and MVP. If it wasn't for them I think it really would have tanked.
Now though, with a nice pool of Matt, MVP, Rey, Taker, Kane, Batista, Khali, and soon to be Edge, Finlay. It looks better. If you throw Chavo and Henry in there, even more so. Where are these 2 btw?

Chavo might be considering getting out his contract and going to TNA to reunited with Hector. Henry is "selling" his beating and druid kidnapping from the Undertaker.
