youtube.com/watch?v=Z_f7_S-y7E8Starting at around 4:30. I never want to here anyone complain about the STFU or how people tap so fast to it again. This was way worse.

ill stop complaining when he stops making rediculous faces. That's the only thing about it that bugs me much. Other than that, once Trips tapped to it, it's an established submission. End of story.

HAHAHAHAHAAHAAHAHAHAH
There was and Angle and JOe sign. Signs of the future from Nitro.
And I think Chavo tapped that fast because of a storyline

Eh, I have nothing against the move itself, but I've always held the smarky belief that submission finishers should only be done by those billed as experts in that area. E.g. Chris Benoit, Bret Hart, Kurt Angle etc.
I vividly remember Cena pulling the STFU out of his ass because he had to win a submission match against Chris Masters and JR making a huge deal about Cena not being "that type of wrestler".
That's what bugs me about Cena and the STFU.
And yes...add to that the fact that Cena doesn't apply the move too well and looks like he's about to die of constipation whenever he does it.

I like the STFU his execution when he really pulls back is awesome.
Oh and I mean Sting wasn't necessarily a technical wrestler, but he used the Scorpion Deathlock.
Cena's STFU is also a lot more of a choke out type move.

Look how he has his hands. Annoys me to no end. I don't know, maybe it's because my first exposure to it was seeing Chono do it (and Chono's mentor, Lou Thesz, invented the move, as I understand it) but Cena's just looks completely wrong to me. Add the rediculously overblown facial expressions, and it's completely craptastic.

You wanna know a real submission move that WWE had the chance to put over, but didn't? The Koji Clutch. In one of the Punk/Stevie matches several months ago, Stevie pulled it right out of his ass and I thought "Holy shitping f***, that's the Koji Nut-Crunch f***in' Clutch!" And then I immediately lost that happiness when I realized it was being used as a resthold in the middle of the match.

ill stop complaining when he stops making rediculous faces. This picture right here is exactly why I complain about it. He's not even pulling back on the head and neck!

He doesn't build up to it; he just uses it and it magically wins the match more often than not. His opponents rarely make th effort to escape it either.

The no build up, no argument there. The not pulling back on in I would bet is him being forced to "Safe Style" it.

Despite the fact that he can't do the move properly, I find it HILARIOUS whenever he does it after a F-U (which is like 99.09% of the time). It's as if WWE are saying "OK, we know the F-U is the worst finisher since the "Legdrop of Doom" let's give the kid something else."

Chavo should be ashamed of himself, and Cenas move wouldn't make a kitten tap out.

The diamond cutter has no build up either, yet people here praise the finisher.
Why should Cena STFU have any build up?

because unlike the cutter, the whole premise of the stfu is to force a tap out, so id think working over the neck would Be essential.
