The diamond cutter has no build up either, yet people here praise the finisher. Why should Cena STFU have any build up? yeah, i mean, it's not like anything else cena does has any build up.

because unlike the cutter, the whole premise of the stfu is to force a tap out, so id think working over the neck would Be essential. But doesn't he do it? Cena does the the flipping neckbraker and the Sicilian Slice in many of his matches. Cena is a brawler that has a submission finisher, I don't think any brawlers build up anything.

It's supposed to knock the crap out of you for the hopefull 3 count. The STFU is a move that USUALLY requires you to work a body part over because you're in pain already. That's just general submission wrestling. Which is why it doesn't work so well with Cena punching and kicking guys then going for a choke-out move.

Did anyone watch the Youtube video?
How are we not looking past Cena and discussing the ridiculous of Chavo not even waiting for Alex Wright to completely lock it in before tapping?

As quickly as Chavo tapped, at least the move looked like it was being/going to be executed properly.
Cena's STF is laughable. He applies zero pressure to the move, add to it that as time went on it looks like he's resting his hands on the mat making the move look even lazier.
If he's not putting the arms across the face for the standard version, and he's choking out, then why would the move be even legal? I seem to recall a storyline between Taz and Angle about Angle crying foul because the Tazmission/katahajime was a choke. Can't recall the ending to the storyline and if it had any impact on the rules or not.
Not even to mention that with the way his arms are positioned and absolutely no torque on the neck or face, it's not even a believeable looking choke.
Add Cena's ass-splosion faces and you get one fat steaming pile of crap.
You know, back in the day I used to gripe about how Benoit stopped locking the arm in the legs properly, but at least he always made the torque of the face/neck look effective.

I thought this was during Chavo's cheapening-out days.
Besides, I tried a Regal Stretch variant on my older brother, and he tapped before I got anywhere near his head.
