The American Badass Taker can be split into two different categories.
You have the American Badass, of course the one he debuted with by riding the bikes, chains, whatever. And then you have Big Evil, the tweener short haired Taker who demanded respect.
But anyway, I think I'll go with Satanic Taker. Probably because I grew up watching him for so long and though I was terrified throughout my childhood, this one spooked me the most. And I was 13 at the time!

I have to go with the Original version. Taker from 90-92 was just bad-ass. He didn't talk much and his gimmick was just so different from all the other stuff WWE had back then. I like the Ministry version, as well. His ministry theme is one of my favorites.

Satanic,with monster killer(94-98) being a close second.

Ministry 'Taker for me. Loved that gimmick. Shame he wont do it again. Damn religious convictions Not trying to turn this into a religious topic, but i was not aware of any of this, has he disavowed that phase of his career? As far as i know he considers this the low point of the character.I don't know why.

He pretty much refreshed the character and made him darker with more layers..I thought he was the most entertaining character on RAW at that point.

I like the latest 'Taker the best I think, he's a nice conglomeration of all the gimmicks. To me he's just gotten better with age.

American Badass by a mile. I can't stand the current Special Effects Taker we have now.

I loved the American Bad Ass character and the pre-ministry Undertaker.
In terms of matches those are his best years, Current Taker is awesome.
But i'm really wanting him to get on the mic and talk about his yard and making people famous

I loved the original Taker. The whole look was just superb. Sure, his matches were pretty boring, but he still pulled it off.
I always loved Paul Bearer, but part of me wished he hadn't been with the Undertaker. It took away from the whole "frightening" aspect of Taker.

Deadman is my favorite.
I've never really gotten into his character all that much, but due to his reduced schedule, his matches nowadays have a big match feel to them, which I like.

I like current Taker, the hybrid of all his previous gimmicks, it's cool.

Old School Undertaker, followed by Ministry Undertaker.
Bikertaker had the best themes, though.

Now, thinking back,I think I feel he was at his best during his badass heal biker time. His mic work was fantastic and just had such an old school, excellent workrate feel(in a bar room brawl type of way) . His work at that time is very underrated and you truly don't appreciate what you have until it's gone because I was one of those people who kept bitching about having the deadman back....

Between 97-98 Taker, 2002 Heel Taker, and the current incarnation.

Current. It just seems to 'click' in a way that the somehow is more credible than his original or purple forms did (plus the matches from that period largely blew). It fits the history of the 'Undertaker' than American Badass did, and frankly his best matches are from the current period.

Where is the "all of the above" option?
