This is a short story, written by a writer for the DDTDigest the day that Vince McMahon became the official owner of WCW.
I remember coming across this story the day after I read the news that WCW had been sold to the WWF. As I was eagerly anticipating to see what would happen on RAW and Nitro the very next night, I remember laughing pretty hard when I read it. Had I but known...
The creepy part is just how damn accurate this story is. Just about every prediction he made has come to pass. Vince did everything he could to destroy the very memory of WCW. He did not really cross-promote, but rather spat upon the grave of his former competitor. And in the end, he did in fact sign Eric Bischoff and doubtless took great pleasure in making him into the clown.
