I'd go with Steamboat or if they could sign Sting for one match, it would be him. I don't care that Flair isn't going to put anyone over on his way out, because he's been putting people over for the last five years. He lost to RICO.....clean. So he's done his fair share of trying to put people over. His last match is for him, because he is a legend and has done a lot for this business.
It has to be at Wrestlemania and they need to sign some of the old horsemen to lead flair down to the ring. I'd love to see Flair come out with an entourage of Arn, Tully, Ole, Malenko, and Windham, while Sting can come out with Luger or someone as his backup. It wouldn't be a great match, but it would be nostalgic and also be Stings first time wrestling for WWE, which would make the pop extra loud. It wouldn't matter who won and would be a great way for Flair to go out.

i REALLY dislike Hogan, but I chose him, at WrestleMania, where it would be a legendary match for the ages.
The wrestling would be bad, but I guess crowd heat and the story surrounding it would make up for it.

Considering nearly everyone on the WWE roster has pinned Flair at this point, I'll go for a choice that would at least be entertaining to watch, if for nothing more than the promos - Flair vs. Regal.

Hogan if it means he retires along with Flair. Otherwise Trips.

he really needs to pass the torch and gimmick on before he leaves, flair will always be the nature boy but i think he needs to pass it on similar to how he got it. i think the next nature boy in the making could easily be elijah the nature boy burke.
especially if throughout the match he kept teaching burke dirty tricks, passing on the torch of the dirtiest player in the game as well.

Since Sting isnt a choice I voted Hogan. They never met one on one at a WrestleMania and thats a crime.

None of the above. It has to be Sting because anyone else would be just wrong. There is no one on the entire roster of WWE who deserves the rub of being in the last match of Flair's career. If WWE really cared at all about the last match of Flair's career, they would make some type of deal with TNA so that Sting can be Flair's last opponent and Sting can have his one WWE appearance. And this match would be the last match of the show because it would be like WMXVIII where Hogan and the Rock had their epic battle fans went home because to them the show was over and no one cared about the title matches. Of course, it didn't help that we all knew that Triple H would win the title.

I think he should either face Hogan at Mania, or pass the gimmick to a charismatic enough heel. I'd be happy with either.

Right on, brother.
I'm tired of hearing all of this high and mighty "pass the torch" talk. Ric Flair has put more people over in his career than any main eventer I can remember. He's already said to have "passed the torch" to Sting, Luger, Randy Orton, and Triple H. How many times does he have to pass the damn thing? And how come he's considered to even still have the friggin' torch? It's not like he's earned any huge victories in the last five years. Gimme a break.
If you ask me, Ric Flair should defeat John Cena, Randy Orton, Edge, Cody Rhodes, and Triple H in a 60 Minute Elimination Chamber match at his final WrestleMania. He's given enough to the business in 35 years. It wouldn't hurt the business to give him a final salute on his way out the door.
