Prior to wrestlemania 17, Angle came out and complained about how "THE FREAKING GOBBLEDY GOOKER!" was booked at wrestlemania and he was left off the card. Then Benoit came out and said he didn't have a match either, and thus their match was made. It was okay because they put on a great match, but it just just seemed thrown in there.

Don't forget about Luther Reigns vs Charlie Haas Reigns and Haas, as far as i can remember, were both fighting for Kurt Angle's affection. So, there was a backstory, just not a very good one. Also, I've said it before, but that Mickie pic in your sig is one of my favorites of all-time. YOWZA! Everytime I think of changing my sig, I think of fellow crappers like you my friend! |

Shelton has a match, and Kerwin interferes...because Shelton is black I guess. They never really gave a reason, nor did one ever cut a promo on the other.

From nowhere the week before the ppv(out of the complete blue) Tomko got mad at Stevie which led to..... Tomko vs Stevie Richards at Vengence I believe... Absolutely pointless and awful...

I remember in wcw, I think it was Konan and Hugh Morris maybe.... Konan saw Hugh in the hallway back stage and asked him if he had a ppv match for the upcoming sunday. Hugh said no and asked Konan if he had one. Konan said no so they just both started fighting right then and there which led to their match at a ppv. (can't remember which one)

Richards was going around as the 'Mystery Woman', who followed Victoria around after her losses. That lasted for a few months (people eventually started chanting 'Stevie! Stevie!') and there was a Trish Stratus/Victoria match. Victoria lost, the 'Mystery Woman' came out, and the future TNA World Tag-Team Champion beat the jobber. That needs to be inducted. |
