1- Gillberg rocked 2- Would David Arquette be considered a gimmick?? I mean it was a bad idea but I really don't see it as a gimmick.

I really don't think Eugene is one of the top ten worst gimmicks. Any number of gimmicks, especially from 94-96 are worse. The Goon? Duke "The Dumpster" Droese? Xanta Claus? all worse than Eugene.

Gillberg wasn't atrocious per se but because it was a very low way of mocking the rival company.
TNA managed (barely) to beat this, with their fake-Triple H and the awful VKM.

It must've been so depressing for Heenana to be in WCW.

Gillberg was quite funny and was meant as parody; he really didn't belong on a list like this. WWE and WCW came up with far worse. PS: THE YET-AY!

I think the Red Rooster should've been #1,Hands down that is the worst most embarrasing gimmick I've ever seen put on a talented charismatic guy who never needed one who could've been one of the greats. It has nothing to do with "red Rooster" being by my name but seriously I agree all of those gimmicks sucking but I think the Rooster was the worst!

BAH GOD ITS THE YET-TAY!
Also I disagree with Eugene on this list... sure on paper it sounded terrible... but it got over huge at least for a while.
The same can't be said for the rest of the list.

A little amusing, but the list itself isn't any good. Gillberg was funny as hell. This guy's logic for why it was one of the worst gimmicks ever? "sorry but im a big fan of golberg, so he stays! lol" Not the captain of the debate team I take it. As mentioned previously, Arquette is not even a gimmick. Eugene not only gets listed, but listed at #3? Pass the bong man. The Shockmaster gets #1? That wasn't so much an awful gimmick as an awful mistake. #1 should be things that were horribly offensive like turncoat Slaughter or terrorist Hassan, or something of legendary awfulness like the 'Gooker.
P.S. I wasn't watching WCW. Did they explain why the hell the "Yeti" is a mummy? A yeti is basically a polar bear version of bigfoot. It has as little to do with mummys as Vince Russo has to do with talented writers. What the hell?
