have you ever acted markish around your friends who are casual wrestling fans since they dont know any of the wrestling terms (ex. marks, smarks, heat).

Yeah, my friend Sammy is a couple weeks behind and wheneevr I talk about that kind of stuff she'll have no clue what I mean. Not that she admits it.

I almost always act like it's real when I watch wrestling. So, yes.

Yeah, it's much more fun to watch with people and act like its real and such. If i sat with my mates talking about workrate and backstage politics and such, well, that would suck all the fun outta watching.

I just watch wrestling as though it were real for the most part and I never use wrestling terms.

I try not to talk about wrestling with people, as some I know still think it's 100% real (and they're at least in their late-teens). I don't really want to get into discussions about how good Batista is, or something to that effect. Plus, my opinions would get lost on them - imagine telling them that dastardly Edge is my favourite wrestler? OMGZ.
But if I knew someone who understood those 'insider' phrases and what was going on backstage, I'd happily talk to them about that.

Funny story.
I was at the Trump Towers for the Wrestlemania press conference.
During Melina's speech, there's this older woman screaming out "YOU'RE A WHORE, MELINA! YOU ARE A WHOOORE!".
I'm cheering Melina and laughing it up with my girlfriend as we were surrounded by casual fans.
Than Ashley comes out for her speech and I start booing her like crazy. I believe I yelled out "No talent b!tch!" (you know, in a silly way.) at some point and than the woman who calls Melina a "whore" (who was cheering for Ashley) turns to me and goes "EXCUSE ME! THEIR ARE CHILDREN AROUND HERE! WHAT A DISGRACE!". Obviously, she's more bothered by my Ashley hate than caring about the children around the area. I than turn to the women and go "Excuse me, ma'am, but I believe the word 'whore' you were throwing around, is much worse for these children to hear". A mother who was with her child turns to me and goes "Yup. Thank you.".
The woman shut up pretty quickly after that.

I prefer not to watch wrestling with casual fans or non-fans nearby.
First, because I know I'd hear the old "this is fake" garbage and secondly, too much of the content is embarrassing.

For the PPVs, my friends and I will go to BDubs to watch them and the majority of folks there are casual fans. We just like to watch the show and see the casual fans act out and be stupid. We [my friends and I] will mark out in front of each other, but usually not in front of casual fans because none of us usually have the patience to tell the casuals why we're doing so.
Personally, I don't really like discussing wrestling with casual fans because, honestly, I don't have the patience to do so. I know so much more than they do and it just irks me to have to listen to their opinions and such. I'm not trying to sound like I think I'm better than them or anything, I just don't like talking about wrestling with them.

I went completely insane when Piper returned at Wrestlemania 19 in front of a friend who started watching since 2000 and he had no clue who he was.

i tend not to think i'm better then them just because they don't want to know the ins and outs of a tv show. (which is all wrestling is to them)

All the time. I act like a mark quite a bit actually, which is what I like about wrestling. I like to watch it as if it were real. Yes I am a smark because I am in fact AWARE of what is happening behind the scenes, but I don't think about smark stuff too much when I watch.
I still say "good guy" and "bad guy" because I have been using those terms since I was 6 years old and it's a habit now. I only say heel/babyface when I am posting on the internet.

No.
Casual fans are few around here, and are horribly lame: ie: the best is the big man with the big belt, Rey Mysterio because he's small but flies and kicks ass!!!
And if there are non-fans around, acting like a mark's the best way to get the "you know it's fake, dontcha?" and "still watching that crap at your age?" questions.
So I always try to enjoy it with a relaxed attitude, like you'd watch an episode of Scrubs and not legit sporting event.
