First of all, the show itself was terrible. I could think of dozens of ways that could have improved it. I won't go into detail, but I would have sent out the Glamazon to attack the new Diva search winner the moment she won.
But that's just me.
But the RAW tonight was quite strange, it was strange in the way the old Twilight Zone shows were before the plot twist was revealed.
I can't tell if it was on purpose, or was just terrible writing and acting. But Vince, Shawn, Regal, and the double Y2J teases were leaning to the strange side.
I hope some of you get what I am saying, that strange feeling. Vince was either totally off in his delivery tonight, or just put on a Oscar level acting clinic.
So you might be saying, where is he going with this?
It may sound insane, but please read to the end.
The most obvious thing to me is that Y2J is coming back really really soon, unless they plan to run the video teases at every pause. ( which would be absurd )
From Vince and Regal's acting, I am getting the vibe that they both know something so amazing that they are acting strange to try to deflect the truth from emerging.
I will say it now, Y2J, Chris Jericho, will return soon and he will be working for/with Mc Mahon. Jericho is a natural heel to me, I expect Jericho to be pushed as a massive heel who is working for Vince.
Yes, this sounds strange for the reason they need top babyfaces, but I really feel Y2J is going to heel it up. He probably will be a face when he finally shows, then quickly turn heel and reveal his ally, Vince.
I expect a brutal attack on HHH, HBK, and Hornswaggle, by Vince, Coach, Umaga, Orton, and the hardcore heel Y2J.
The chances of me being totally correct are very LOW(EDIT!), but I suspect some of what I have seen will come true.
What are your thoughts?

I enjoy strange. I thought that this was a good show because it was a tad strange. And I don't see Jericho being a heel right away, I say give it at least a month after his return. He still has to sell books.

Face, Heel, either way, it's fine with me. I think (like you mentioned) that he has to come back as a face. He's too big a star and will get WAAAY too big a reaction to turn heel immediately.
Maybe then the next week, a 6 man? McMahon/Orton/Umaga vs. DX/Y2J and he turns on 'em? I can see that....

Then we re-enact the Y2J/HHH feud with Vince instead of Steph

It seemed like he was trying to bring out the "hate" in HBK, as part of some sort of plan to get at HHH. What he was saying to Hornswoggle was pretty much in the same mindset, but not sure how related it is.

I can see this happening. I think it'd be sweet if they let him be face for a month before the revealing...build the turn up a bit.

Who cares about Jericho? We have guys that can get the fans to make no noise,no reaction,no cheering for heel or face, and can put you to sleep.Such as Haas,Hornswaggle,Cody,Bob Holly(sucks),Sheldon,Cadeand Murdoch, pretty much the whole roster.I think they better combine all 3 brands and put it to one show a week. Then that way you only have top guys making TV and maybe some matches that matter not crap like the Diva Search and Bob Holly making it on Raw.

I've already cracked the X29 code in the SAVE_US thread. Everyone can stop trying to figure it out now.

Sorry but there's no way that Jericho would immediately turn heel because of the fact that Vince has such a hard-on for Orton that Jericho being a heel would steal so much thunder from Orton. And Jericho needs to be a face when he feuds with Kennedy leading into Wrestlemania (i want to see that at Mania rather than Kennedy winning the rumble and winning the belt at mania). That match will be the match that EVERYONE at wrestlecrap sees and says "Wow, Mr. Kennedy IS a star in the making."

I'm calling it right now... the thread title for next week's Raw should be "The Raw is Back to the Future" thread because it's all DX/Austin. It's like 1998 all over again.

I thought it was just a shoddy episode. The McMahon/Michaels bit ended poorly and was written poorly. (I know deep down, Shawn, you want the title. Duh. I know deep down, Shawn, you want revenge. Duh.)
But it's kinda clear that what it's leading to is Michaels being in Vince's back pocket so that he can get another title run. He'll turn on HHH. Perhaps Y2J "saving us" means they'll be playing around with the theme of Michaels being a born-again Christian who has turned to the dark side.

I HATE heel Jericho.
And I'm not talking about the kind they are looking for.
The only time I enjoyed Jericho as a heel was in WCW.

I think that bit was pretty well written, IMO. I think there was a lot of stuff said, but at the same time wasn't said. It was a very complex exchange. I think it was trying to set it up where Vince has a secret weapon or secret master plan of some kind. I also liked how Vince said "RRRROTTON!!"....."There is a small piece of your soul that's RRRRROTTON!" That had me LOL-ing for awhile. I also liked the Fake-out Superkick. Even though the original camera angle of it was garbage.

The great thing about having a guy like jericho on the roster that he is a natural at working either heel or face. I loved watching his stuff in WCW as "Crybaby Chris" and some of his heel stuff in WWE was superb. But I reckon that WWE will IMMEDIATELY book him as a high profile babyface.

It wasn't more strange than other episodes... It's curious to see where they're going with Vince v HBK, part II, as I doubt they'll go down the path they already went last year. Mickie and Murdoch was a " " moment, but who knows. About Jericho, I'm tired of reading about his comeback already... Let's wait and enjoy when/if he comes back, instead of crapping on RAW every week because the Saviour didn't show up.

Mickie and Murdoch was a " " moment, but who knows. Maybe she's hit rock bottom now after her split with Dykstra. Means we all have a chance
