I'd actually love it if Edge is the one behind the save_us stuff to mock Jericho. Imagine a bunch of wrestlers huddling around a tv backstage to see who save_us is only to be pissed off like the fans that it's Edge messing with everyone. At the end of Edge's promo as the people backstage are complaining, Jericho walks into frame and says "Hmmm, so Edge is back" and RAW goes off air.

I'm predicting that when Jericho returns (whenever that is), he will make some reference to leprechauns and Looney Toon gimmicks that have been on RAW for the past few weeks.

Coach v Hornswoggle is announced for tonight. If ever there was an opportunity for Jericho to save us and rip what the WWE has been without him, that's it

I'm sure that this has been mentioned, but in Jericho's debut in 1999, he says that he's going to "save the wwf". I find this interesting, and that it points this almost 100% to being Jericho. He's the only person I think I've ever heard in a promo say that he is going to "save the WWE/F", so this quote really can't be connected with anyone else.

It was mentioned about 3 seconds into the very first SaveUs Promo. Plus, not only did Jericho say it, but it was printed on the back of the very first Y2J shirts. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Hate to double post, but why do we all think its going to be Jericho?
I mean, I get that he said he would "save the WWF" but thats about it. If anything, it has been very biblical and I don't recall Jericho being too biblical. Hell, if anything it has more to do with someone like Mordecai than Jericho.
Could it be someone completely new? Would everyone crap on it if it weren't Jericho? I mean, I don't ever remember everyone from the IWC taking the hook like they have on this one.
And one more thing, if it is Jericho, what is he going to do? Shill his book the first night back? Next week? I can see it now...
Jericho: "Welcome to Raw is Jericho! I am here to save you from this boring WWE product! By the way, pick up my new book on wwe.com today!"

You know, I get the funny feeling that it will be Jericho tonight, but he's not returning as a wrestler. This has been bothering me ever since it says "bookshelves" in the promo's. I think he's only returning to shill his book. When is the US release date? I hope that's not it, but you never know. I guews I'm about 50-50 that he returns to wrestle vs shilling.

has Jericho returned yet? Nope. There was some Diva battle royal or something, didn't see the whole thing. If he doesn't show up, I'd laugh as WWE never actually promoted him, so it's not as if they are doing false advertising.

Be prepared for the multitude of criers saying WWE "screwed" them and that they were some how "swerved". I want Jericho back just as much as the next guy, but it needs to be said again... we came to these conclusions ourselves.

Guys, its pretty much been confirmed that its Jericho. Why are we still speculating? I don't think the speculation derives from who it is rather than when he is coming. And smarks assumed at No Mercy and were wrong and they did it again last night and were wrong there too. I'm sure WWE got a kick knowing they got several extra buys by people who actually thought he was appearing at those 2 PPV's.
