People act as though heels can't make a company any good money. He should stay face though, at least for awhile.
He's still getting mixed reactions, there's no denying it. When he returns though I think that will subside as long as he's kept away from the title at least until Mania 25. Build a storyline for him to chase the gold and win it back there. It worked for Austin, and I think it would work for Cena.
Now all that being said, he NEEDS a heel turn one day. Or else no matter what they do with him people will eventually turn on him again. Ratings weren't anything special with him, and neither were buyrates to be perfectly honest. We aren't in the era of Hulk Hogan anymore. Sugary sweet baby faces will get s*** on if not handled with kid gloves. It isn't like it's all his fault by any means. I mean look at the crap he's given to talk about. They do a hot angle where Cena is totally out of control, it's over, and then about 1:16 he cuts ...well...THAT promo.
