So last night Murdoch and Mickie were just having a friendly chat. Murdoch sounded like a bumbling bafoon. Now, had I never heard him do color, I'd expect that. But this guy is an excellent talker. Why give Murdoch a word for word script? Why not let him go with the flow, and see where the backstage segment with Mickie goes? Instead, and just sounded like some guy trying to remember his lines.
I apologize for this not so ground breaking news about wrestlers and scripts, but, it just seems wierd to me that the 'E would let this guy do color a few times, but put him on a short leash when talking in behind the scenes segments.

Trevor Murdoch's bit on Raw last night reminded me of Michael Cera from Superbad. I liked it.

Yeah, it definitely seemed more like he was nervous around her being the reason. Though it's certainly possible he was having trouble with his lines.
Either way, Murdoch with Mickie James is just disturbing. I thought it was a law of the universe that no man who owns more than 3 John Deere hats can have a woman better than a 5 unless it's his sister. The world doesn't make sense anymore!

In that case, why make him like Balls Mahoney? Why not do something different? How about have him talk to her as if he was ok talking to girls, then cut a 'tweener promo (I'm assuming this is leading to a break-up between cade and murdoch). |

I'm all for some Mickie/Murdoch romance, but it's too similar to Kelly and Balls. Just have them be really good friends a'la Foley and Melina, but without the girl costing the guy his job.
