I know some of the wrestlers suck but at least make a little noise and get some chants going so the fans at home can laugh.

It's not easy getting a strong "Same Old Shit" and "Change The Channel" chant in a large venue.

/agree. It'd be nice to see some more amusing chants. Two great ones that pop to mind are when D-Von was in his reverend gimmick, one crowd started chanting "D-Von Touched Me." And when Vince threw his cane and hit a woman in the crowd another crowd chanted "Lawsuit." Comedy gold.

Give them something to be creative about and they will do it.

The crowd chanted Y2J and last week they chanted for Bob Holly. Those are two I don't hear often.

So the fans aren't putting the wrestlers over? No sense in faking it, just like if noone watches because they're not impressed with it

I hate this, simply because it makes shows worse. When a crowd is hot and react loudly to everything, it makes the show seem that much better (even though it's still the same old stuff we usually get).
Honestly, I don't think I've heard shows get all-around good reactions since about 2000 or so. These days, the crowd are dead for most of the show, which means more piped-in reactions from WWE. This is very noticeable, especially on ECW and SmackDown. Also, it's pretty sad when the crowd is chanting for a wrestler who hasn't set foot in the promotion since 2005, instead of getting into the current product they're watching.
It's something that needs to change.

Maybe they can go back to piping in chants, which was lame and obvious before

Don't blame the crowds. It's not their fault. If they had anything to get excited about, they probably would!

I thought Raw's last week was quite good.
I usually enjoy the show more when the crowd is hot all night, because it just makes everything seem that much more exciting, even though it may not be.

You can't blame the crowds for not cheering for the cheap garbage that they're giving them. Such things as: Sargento making fun of Austin's DVD for the 59 billionth time, Kennedy doing nothing but saying his name twice, and Umaga Vs. HHH over and over again.
It's all boring as hell. They just drag everything out and keep doing the same things over & over again. It just sucks the life out of any crowd. It's like they're not even trying anymore because they know no matter how crappy the shows are...people will still watch them.

Your Santino comment is a complete overreaction, and the payoff stunner will come next week, unless Santino somehow beats down Austin. I want to say this is only the fourth or fifth week of this feud. Kennedy didn't do his mike routine at all last night, but was still something the crowd was hot for, as everytime he got tagged in there was a reaction. Umaga vs HHH has been a fairly decent feud, IMO as they have been beating the tar out of one another. There was also a certain anticipation in the air during the main event, they were ready to explode for Jericho. The things the crowd crapped on were the Diva segments, both the battle royal and the Diva search results. And to state that it's boring is also inaccurate, because you still seem to watch.

Don't blame the crowds. It's not their fault. If they had anything to get excited about, they probably would! Seconded. What was to be excited about in 1994? Fans would be on their feet for jobber matches in WCW. WWE Crowds really have sucked lately, how can I at home get excited if the fans in the stadium arent excited. WWE might as well start hiring plants to get the crowd more into it.
