RAW RATING RISES AFTER PPV by Dave Scherer @ 6:32:33 PM on 10/30/2007
This week's edition of Raw scored a 3.5 cable rating, up from last week's 3.3. The show did hours of 3.5 (3.54) and 3.4 (3.40) so the only negative in the number is that the audience dropped in the second hour.

That's good. I wonder if that had anything to do with people jumping to conclusions about Save Us 222.

It'll be interesting to see if next weeks rating jumps with Austin being promised, as well as DX.

Im surprised the first hour did better than the second hour. I felt the first hour was filled with so much crap(save the for the Cade/Murdoch segment in the back and the WGTT vs Rhodes/Holly match)

It was one of the best shows in a while (apart from the whole Hornswoggle stuff).
Hopefully they should be back in 4.0 territory by the end of November.

I wonder if the ratings will go down again next week and won't come up again until around a ppv event.

Wait a second... wasn't WWE practically on it's deathbed about 3 weeks back, because of one freak low rating?

The interesting thing about the show was that SAVE_US was before the Trevor/Mickie segment on the US showing, but it was before the main event in the UK showing. I think Sky missed their cue.

Honestly, a 3.5 is a very good number to build on with sweeps starting next week. I'm not sure they can get to the 4 in November that someone else projected, but they could come close next week.
