I guess some people reall want a bunch of wrestlers to get fired because WWE would have to cut back drastically to fit a combined roster on one show.

That would be a mess. If anything, have a draft show to bring ECW guys to RAW/SD and then slowly combine the shows after weening off some of the roster. Or, Get rid of SD and Combine the RAW/SD and make ECW its own prominent different styled show.

No, they would lose so much money by doing that.
Although, I do think they should combine the Raw and SmackDown rosters again, but leaving ECW as a separate brand. This way, the ECW roster would expand further and they would have enough talent on the two main shows to have quite a bit of variety.
