There's enough talent to combine all 3 brands, have 1 show(RAW),and PPV's every second month. Make it matter again.

No. That cuts off WWE's revenue stream through those other two shows and 6 months of PPVs, and if you think Vince will ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever cut off a potentially viable revenue stream, I have some magic beans I'd like to sell you.

I certainly wouldn't mind if they recombined Raw and Smackdown! but left ECW seperate.

Wouldn't quite a few guys be out of TV? It would be like a 1 hour TNA. Unless the show was 5 hours, of course.

Is it sad that I would watch a 5 hour a week single WWE show?

Is it sad that I would watch a 5 hour a week single WWE show? Yes, watching 5 hours straight of a single WWE show would make Jesus cry. YOU DON'T WANT CARLITO'S BODYGUARD TO CRY DO YOU?

Financially, with them making hand over fist as is, that'd make no sense at all.

Having three brands has the potential for more storylines, as long as the proper effort is put into all three brands. Whether it is or not is up for debate Yes, that may be up for debate, but I'd rather have a few good storylines and a few bad storylines than seeing the SAME few storylines for 5 hours a week. Combining the rosters would cause you to see a lot of wrestlers less often (and yes, for some that would be good), but you'd see the guys you already see a lot of a WHOLE lot more. Let's say a Shawn and Orton segment took 20 minutes on Monday, they'd probably get another 10 minutes on the Tuesday show, and another 20 on Friday to further the storyline. You want 50 minutes a week, an entire ECW show's worth of time, devoted to two guys fake problems with each other? I think 20 minutes is too much as it is unless it's a match. The brands need to stay seperate. P.S. "You" does not refer to you, DevonDragon," but to those who want them back together. After posting and realizing I quoted you to begin with, it didn't sound right to continue using "you" so vaguely.

I would be fine with the brand split if each brand offered something different.
But they don't.

brand split has always been a little meaningless anyway, what with drafts and straight up random show jumping, just look at khali, hasn't he been on all three shows this year?
seriously, I'm rarely certain at this stage of who's on which show
the only thing that's certain is HHH will always be in Raw

One show?
No way... Half of the roster would get the axe, and it'd be only Orton, Cena, HBK, HHH, Vince, Batista, Taker (and Edge?) plus some randomly picked midcarders...
The brand split isn't bad per se , it'd work if they only booked it decently.
