A lot of people think that Halloween is the night when demons and vampire go running around. Actually, this is not true. To the supernatural world, Halloween is more like Thanksgiving and Christmas: it's a day of rest and to be with the people love, or in their case, people they like to hang out with and commit acts of evil. So, Kevin Thorne wasn't there because it wouldn't have been proper for him to be there. I mean, we don't work on Thanksgiving or Christmas, and Kevin Thorne doesn't work on Halloween.
Another interesting note is that the days evil beings like to go out and commit mayhem is Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I think that he just won't be on television for a month or so after he messed up that entire match he had with this jobber 2 or 3 weeks ago or so. That's why.
