As Edge prepares for his longly anticipated return to action at Survivor Series, let us all take a moment to relive our final memories of Edge before he was forced to vacate the Championship for the ... *cringes* Great Khali. He's Simply The Best!  A truly touching tribute made by the man himself. Damn that selfish Teddy Long, damn him for stripping Edge of that title. He deserved what happened to him at his wedding! [/JBL] But in all seriousness, that tribute was pretty cool, and I can't wait to have him back. The sooner he's injected back in to the title hunt the better. Oh, and if you missed it before here was the full segment with the vacating of the belt. Right here.And who can forget the party of the century! |

Silly Teddy! You know that rule isn't true!
Also, as a personal aside ... I hate Alter Bridge - mainly for the Creed association - but Edge's theme song rocks.

Seeing that video makes me want to see him as ECW champ. He should be the first guy to hold the 3 top titles on the brands. It would make good heel bragging rights.

I hate Edge, and never want him to return. It's been so damn refreshing not having Cena, Black Lesnar, and Edge on my TV set for the past few weeks. It's a shame it has to end sometime...

All the best to Edge. The UT, Batista Fued is getting old and Edge has unfinished business with them last time i checked. I beleive Flair's on his way back too. He never quit, WWE creative had nothing for him so they "gave" him a couple of months off. They need him back as a heel though.

Question:
If a champion forfeits the belt, does he still get a "rematch clause" like opportunity. If so, this could mean Edge will have the ability to screw someone else over to take their title

If so, this could mean Edge will have the ability to screw someone else over to take their title I remember Teddy Long telling Edge, on the night he vacated the belt, something to the effect that he'll need to win a few matches and work his way up to get another shot at the belt. So I guess that rematch clause would only be in effect if it was Batista or something. |

Edge's title vacating spech was absolutely awesome, he looked like being champion meant more to him than anything else. We need more things like this to make the titles more legitimate and special.
