I remember this being one of my absolute favorite bits of the Monday Night Wars. I was a huge Waltman fan at this point (I loved the 123 Kid persona and turn) and the mention of "Hall and Nash" in this bit really shocked me. I even made a X-Pac desktop theme! So, anyways, does anyone know where I can find his return promo? I've not been able to dig it up on YouTube.

I've tried to dig it up as well but can't find it. Guess its been taken off. BTW, what started the X-pac hate? IICR he was extremely over when he was in DX.

XPac with Kane was my Favourite Tag Team for AGES. The Entrance was ownage like the big bang to DX was awesomely synced.

One of my favorite parts of his debut was when JR sarcastically remarked, "Well look whose back."

I remember that night. I was there, in the upper deck, in the end of the arena opposite the entrance. I was 14, and not wearing the glasses I should have been, and couldn't see a Goddamn thing. When he came out, my first thought was that it was DX pulling a fast one and was just Michaels in a wig. I didn't read NEWSORRZ sites at the time, so I had no idea of the whole XPac situation. His shoot was electric. That arena is a lot louder than it comes over on TV.

I've tried to dig it up as well but can't find it. Guess its been taken off. BTW, what started the X-pac hate? IICR he was extremely over when he was in DX. He seemed to get lazier in the ring to smarks, and more than that he NEVER changed his gimmick. He came out did crotch chops and was just STALE. Even when he had his own stable he was still "X-pac from DX".

That segment really hasn't aged well. Triple H has actually improved a lot on the mic since this period.

I loved this promo because not only was JR pretty sarcastic when X-Pac returned, but Pac had me crying I was laughing so loud when he said he was back to "Rip ass". Hilarious awesomeness!

X-Pac: I heard Hulk Hogan come out on television and say I couldn't cut the mustard... well... well... you suck *pout* *pout*

Anyone else find it a little weird/creepy to see HHH/X-Pac and Chyna in the ring together?

Is that the one with JR's great delivery of the line "Well look who's back"

That was Waltman's top moment. He was never good on the mic again after that. It was like he forgot how to cut a promo afterwards.

This segment was the first WWF on TV I enjoyed since 1993.
I hadn't watched WWF at all (save maybe for a couple minutes here and there, where Bret and Shawn's entrance costumes made me say 'this is gay' and shut it off) since I quit in the Lex Express days. A buddy of mine would always do the DX/Syxx crotch chop taunt, and he showed our group some DX stuff and NWO stuff he had on tape. I thought it was funny. So me and everybody decided to watch wrestling with him to see this guy return.
I then became something of a minor DX mark for a while.
