I HOPE Hornswaggle being Vince's son was the B-plan they have to come up with in two days, after Kennedy embarrassed himself and the company.
Since the "serious" angle had to be scrapped, they went for comedy filler.
If that, instead, was the plan all along, I'm baffled... WWE devoted 5-6 weeks of MASSIVE buildup to put over a f'n midget... All that precious airtime could have been used to promote actual wrestlers, who need promotion like oxygen.

And even if it turned out to be Kennedy would it be any better? Lets just say he dosen't turn out to be much in the future(which is still possible). That would've been a wasted push. Plus, the IWC would just bitch that Vince has a hard-on for him and would want it to be someone else. If it turned out to be someone else, that person would get THE SAME EXACT TREATMENT. The blow-off would've been the same result in the long run.

The point was to provide us with the "hilarious entertainment" of Hornswaggle's "amusing hijinks". {sarcasm off}
