I miss an over Shelton Benjamin, if that's what you mean.

They should bring in Slick as his dad.
WGTT would benefit enormously.

I remember after WM21 I was convinced (until Cena got drafted to RAW) that the WM22 main-event would be Shelton v. HHH.
How wrong I was.

When I heard he was getting a "Momma" I had different things in mind-she coulda been funnier, along the lines of Juanita in Billy Madison. But the E didn't go that route and she just didn't add much IMO

I kinda miss Moma Benjamin.
Too bad they canned the angle when in a matter of weeks the Mom was more over than the Son...

I thought she was great. I would have liked to see her with TWGTT. And agreed in bringing Slick. That team could use a manager like him. Neither Haas nor Shelton can really cut a promo.

I liked it because Shelton got a lot of TV time.

Haas can cut a reasonable promo, but Shelton is marble-mouthed... I was totally in favour of Shelton's momma... I do find it ironic that now people are saying they liked her, when at the time it was mostly "GAH! THIS IS ASININE! SHELTON IS SERIOUS BIZNIZ!".

I definitely miss her. Shelton's great in the ring, but he needs someone like her to help get him over. On his own, he's kinda boring, honestly.

I was one of the few who defended it and actively enjoyed it... Just like when Umaga first debuted... Holy crap did the board explode with "WTF IS TIHS 1990/?" My favorite Mama Benjamin moment was her backstage vignettes with Viscera and Vince McMahon... Both equally hilarious...

I liked that Shelton wasn't a ****ing jobber for the moment. I'd say he should go to TNA when his contract is up but he is getting such a jobber-aura going he'd be hard to push. Cage at-least was cutting good promos and jobbing just to the main-eventers. Shelton has put-over Cody Rhodes repeatedly for piss-sakes.

I really miss her. I laughed out loud when Shelton's Mama whiped his cheeks with a napkin in front of the fans and on TV.

Mama gave him more confidence on the mic and he played off of her so well

I thought the angle with Flair was great. Especially how Momma would cheat for Shelton, and Shelton wouldn't know.

She added some flavor to a bland character. If they could use divas as effectively as they used Shelton's Mama, their might be a reason to have them around. And as well as a previous posted, I am surprised as anyone that Shelton Benjaman has fallen as far from grace as he has. In all honesty, the last time Shelton was over was when he was with Mama. So yeah, I miss her. I particularly liked the time she met Val Venis.
