I recently watched the match between Shelton and Christian from the 2005 Survivor Series, and I think that match should've been a classic. It would've been in the old days, because Shelton and Christian played the babyface and heel roles perfectly. It's just that that's not what most fans look for nowadays. They want "sports entertainment" and to a point I don't blame them. Still, in terms of classic pro wrestling psychology, that Shelton/Christian match was a masterpiece.
