One of the Cade/Murdoch vs. Hardys matches. They were all good.

Punk vs. Morrison, Punk wins the title.
If nothing else, a Split Legged Corkscrew!

Cena/Michaels at Earls Court. The best match I've ever seen live.

In WWE Cena/Michaels II but overall I would go for either The Briscoes vs MCMG at ROH Good Times Great Memories or the Jimmy Jacobs/BJ Whitmer Cage Match at ROH Supercard of Honor II.

Cena and Umaga at the Rumble was a truly outstanding match IMO. Cena proved me completely wrong in that match. Brilliant stuff.
Honourable mention goes to Punk's ECW title win over John Morrison.

WWE? Probably Cena v. Michaels II, the 50 minute match from England. In general? Nigel McGuinness v. Bryan Danielson from ROH Driven, which is in the discussion for best match I've ever seen PERIOD. Haha I was there for the Danielson match Im so cool! I was there too. *high five*

Just WWE: 1. Undertaker vs. Batista (WM23) 2. Punk vs. Morrison (ECW... can't remember the date but these two rock the house on a regular basis) 3. Cena vs. Umaga (RR)

Either the originals/new breed extreme rules match or Punk/Morrison for the title.

from what i have seen,
match of the year: briscoes / motorcity machine guns. i mark hard for tag team wrestling and really enjoyed this match. both teams did extremely well, and this is one of those matches that i just love to watch over and over.
mainstream match of the year: kurt angle / jay lethal for the x division title. loved this match. kurt goes into the pay per view a triple champion and has to defend all of his belts. kurt fought jay lethal for his second match with the x division title on the line. i really had no idea which way it was going to go and was literally on the edge of my seat rooting for jay lethal. i think it was just a really well done match with jay lethal getting the big win at the end solidifying it.
wwe match of the year: new breed / old breed extreme rules match. ecw has been my favorite wwe program this year , which i think is really saying a lot when you have such a small roster that we end up seeing the same match ups but it keeps my interest well. i enjoyed the build up to this match as well and it was just a match with the classic team battle of old vs new thrown in.

briscoes vs mcmg undertista (WM23) punk-morrison (where punk won the belt) and i haven't seen it yet, but dragon-nigel from driven is apparently awesome
all of those are in the running.

WWE- Tough one, there's not been a great deal of memorable ones, and I missed Cena/Michaels II, so I'll say MITB3.
Overall- Chris Hero vs Claudio Castagnoli from CHIKARA Rey de Voladores. I know I have been OTT with my praising of this show lately, but this match is fantastic, and helped get my passion for wrestling re-ignited.

I really can't think of a match this year I enjoyed more than Cena vs. Umaga from the Royal Rumble. I rarely call Cena impressive, but both men impressed me in that match.
