Granted, there's still 2 months to go...
But, what is your favourite match of this year?

WWE? Probably Cena v. Michaels II, the 50 minute match from England.
In general? Nigel McGuinness v. Bryan Danielson from ROH Driven, which is in the discussion for best match I've ever seen PERIOD.

In WWE it's Edge vs Batista from Vengeance. Going in I thought there was no chance of Batista winning, and that Edge was going to have a long reign. After about 12 minutes in watching it live, there had to be 3-4 spots where I thought Batista had won. I'll pimp that match until the year is over, and then some.
In ALL of wrestling though, either Danielson vs McGuinness from ROH Driven or the Murder City Machine Guns vs The Briscoes from ROH Good Times, Great Memories.

Completely agreed, i think this is the best match of Batista's career.

I thought Edge/Batista was fine but not amazing. It's weird, I appreaciate that Edge has a lot of talent, but I've never found him that interesting to watch while he wrestles. And Batista is...well, you get the feeling he could have been a great big man worker at one time, but maybe he's too old now or just isn't motivated anymore.

In WWE, Undertaker vs Batista. I wasn't expecting much, but the win it all or lose it all feel as a Taker fan was just incredible.

Also I thought Morrison/Punk from ECW 9-4-07 was one of the best matches of the year.

Morrison-Punk 9-4-07 seconded.
Other than that, I don't know. I got the Four Horsemen DVD this year so can I choose Tully Blanchard-Dusty Rhodes from Starrcade '86?

Cena/HBK II, because I definitely didn't expect a)a match that good )a match that long and c)a match that unpredictable.
I also really liked most of the Punk/Morrison matches Hardy/Kennedy has been fun And I really enjoyed Batista/Undertaker

I hate to say it but i acutally enjoyed the last man standing match from the Royal Rumble with Cena vs Umaga. Outside of the 'E' and just to be different I'd go with The Texas death match Chris Harris vs James Storm from TNA sacrifice.

Undertaker/Batista from Wrestlemania (although I've found all of their matches to be really good) or Batista/Edge Vengeance.

I guess I'll say Taker/Batista from Mania, great match with a good story. I can't think of any true classics I've seen this year from WWE.

WWE - Cena/Umaga from Royal Rumble TNA - Joe/Cage from Destination X ROH - Jacobs/Whitmer from Supercard of Honor II
In general: Jacobs/Whitmer from Supercard of Honor II. Matches get no better than that. It just had everything. Story, emotion, blood, violence, a reason.

Punk def Morrison for ECW Title as far as WWE goes
Overall, the best match I've seen was Kenta/DragonII from ROH's 2nd PPV (there live)
