One of JBL's most used lines on SmackDown is "They're carrying them off like corndwood, Michael!" My question is, what in the world is corndwood?

It's not related to me I'm pretty sure.
Don't quote me on it tho.
Honestly I have no idea.

It's actually 'cordwood'. Which basically is just stacks of little logs tied together. Hence the cord part. I used to have to load this stuff onto trucks during Winter season in my hometown for people's fireplaces. Not the best job in the world.

It depends where you live. I lived in an area where there were A LOT of cottages, and some people who'd come up there around the holidays loved to burn wood in wood-stoves. Plus, it was much cheaper than baseboard electric heating.

When I opened this thread I thought it would have some sort of relation to JBL's method of "breaking in" the newbies to the company. You know, cuz nothing commands respect like shoving a blunt object up someone's ass.

I think it has something to do with Booger Red.

Cordwood is a method of sexual gratification that involves tying a piece of string round it. See also Silkwood, brushwood and driftwood.
Tanglewood is one of the many bad things that may happen, if you attempt to tie a piece of string round it.

A cord of wood is a stack of wood 4 feet high, 4 feet wide, 8 feet long. I grew up in a house out in a rural area that had a wood-burning stove as its source of heat in the winter. The modern ones really do their job, and it's a whole lot less expensive than gas, electric, or heating oil. The physical labor involved is greater, but it's the price you pay. Besides, it good exercise splitting, moving, and stacking wood.

What is the story with JBL and blunt objects? It sounds horrific.
