This may have been asked before but I was thinking earlier, If Evolution had never been formed would Batista and Orton still be WHC and WWE champ?
I dont think they would be no Trips backstage no Flair to give them that image I think they would just be flounderig in the mid-card. What do you think?

I think Orton would have been shoved down our throats as a babyface if Evolution never came along to be honest. The only reason he turned heel at the time was because people were booing the hell out of him, even while he was talking about his shoulder injury, so there was no choice. I think he would have gotten to the top one way or the other.
I highly doubt Batista would have gotten there without Evolution and the rub he got from his slow burn face turn.

Remember Batista's original vignettes?(right after Deacon Dave when he was coming to Raw..)
They were tight and really got me hyped for Batista, whether he was in Evolution or not. So I think Bats for sure would have had his rise, maybe a little slower though.

Batista wouldn't be where he is today without Evolution. That feud with Trips made him. Based on crowd reaction it's still the best face turn I've seen in the last 5 years.
Orton probably would have made it to the main event, but wouldn't have been WHC as soon as he was
