But, seriously, I don't think the WWE should be reminding us of the New Generation Era, seeing as how ratings and talent level are at a low not seen since the Gobbledy Gooker exposed wrestlecrap to the naked eye.

What if HBK (so as to prove he's still controversial) were to superkick the egg before it hatched, causing the egg to break and Stan to fly out. It would be allow for continuity and tie up the loose end from that segment. (Where has Stan been since getting kicked last year? Did he quit? Get fired? Get inserted into an egg with a thin candy shell?)Of course, then the writers would take it too far and have Stan interfere in the WWE Title match, setting up a best-of-7 evening gown match series between him and HBK. |

That would be like the beginning of No Mercy 2002. Undertaker sits on a bench, and here comes Kane (in mask) to sit down next to him in huge applause. Kane then asks Undertaker, "How was your week?" And Undertaker gave him a deadly stare.

They should have an ugly, talentless chick jump out just like at the 1990 Survivor Series. Or better yet, put ALL the Diva's in there. Anyone for omlette?
What I don't get is all the "people thought it would be a wrestler from somewhere else, possibly Ric Flair" retrospective speculation. Frankly if you thought it would be a good way to debut a defector by having him hatch out of an egg you're a bigger idiot than the guy who thought the egg was a good idea in the first place.

The Gooker comes out of the egg to SAVE_US and all is well with the world ;D

Sure, why not.
Don't give it a bunch of buildup to disappoint people, just show the egg once on the raw before Survivor series.
Have some goofy thing pop out, doesn't really matter much what it is. Of course if they want Jericho to return at SS, they could have him pop out and that'd be pretty sweet.
