Well, I'm on 23 so I only saw the 1999+ Moolah and only a select few of her older matches.
I remember in early 2000 while Mark Henry and Mae were a couple, Moolah ended up with Harvey Wippleman. I remember Moolah putting Harvey on her shoulders and carrying him to the back after being laid out.
I also remember Mae and Moolah having a 7 or 8 minute Women's title match on Smackdown after Moolah got the belt off Ivory in 99. For two old ladies, they had a fun, watchable entertaining match.
I'm gonna miss Moolah.

Moolah's hayday was in the 40's and 50's. She's the toughes female wrestler of all time. Men used to beat on her, she'd get ridiculed for wanting to be a wrestler (being a woman in the 40's), but she'd dish out punishment on them, and was one of those types of people that stood out no matter how much people dispised her. I think someone even murdered someone and tried to pin it on her (or Mae Young).
I know that she populatized the flying mare (mabe invented it, I don't know), and was one of the greatest heels in wrestling history, male of female.
Lipstick and dynamite is a good documentary to watch about old shcool women's pro wrestling.
My favarite memory of Moolah, that I would know of, would be her putting over Wendy Richter (even though it looked iffy, Wendy still won, which was RARE to beat Moolah), and the time she won the women's title from Ivory.

No Mercy 1999.
Beat Ivory to win the women's title.
Even managed a double elbow drop from the bottom rope. That's power.

She's what I judge all women wrestlers by. She just was great. And i only saw her toward the end of her career. Watch her storytelling in the ring. Watch the relish in which she played the heel. But out side the ring she always stopped to say hi and sign on her way into the Meadoelands Arena.

I have the distinct honor to say that when I was probably 8 or 9 years old, I got to see SPIDER LADY live at a house show to take on Wendi Richter.
For those who are unaware, Spider Lady was Moolah under a mask because there was a storyline reason (that I cant remember) where Moolah was not able to get any more title shots or something. It was great.

From what I've seen, she was pretty dreadful, to be honest.
Every time she made an appearance in the past seven years, I've wanted to gouge my eyes out.
But I guess that's not fair, considering her age. Was she any good as a wrestler or a character, in her prime? I mean, considering the time frame? I don't expect her to be wrestling like a Sara Del Rey or something ...

She was a mere comedy character these past 10 years which was fine, but it is not an indication of what she spent most of her career doing. Don't get me wrong, even in her prime she was no Sara Del Rey. Moolah was an "old school heel" in every sense of the word, and she played that role great.

I know that she populatized the flying mare (maybe invented it, I don't know), ... As Bobby Heenan may have said, "I have it on good authority that she's so old, she could have invented fire."

What was her last appearance on WWE TV?
The last thing that comes to mind was when her and Mae were barking like a dog and eating dog food on Raw. I don't remember why they did it and I really hope it's not the last Moolah moment on WWE TV...but unfortunately, unless my memory is off, I believe it is.
