Yeah... this is why Bret was screwed, kiddies! Vince had to "save the belt"! So we give it to Michaels, with one of the single worst reigns of all time: DQ'd against Shamrock, DQ'd against Owen, won a Casket match when Kane did everything for him (seriously, that was the equivalent of outside interference AND having them pin your opponent for you).
And then... they get rid of the belt after WrestleMania anyway and it becomes the Hardcore title. Ah well, at least we got to see Trips get bitched out Julie Hart on Wrestling With Shadows. Oh, oh, OWNED!
