It was deeply dreadful. I HATED him as soon as he arrived, and I couldn't wait for his push to end. I hadn't seen any of his WCW stuff but I thought he flat out sucked in every single way. And that was before he got in a ring - never mind the fact that one of his first matches was squashing Jericho. Comedy value is one thing - if we're talking taking up TV time and PPV time and challenging for World Titles (Steiner! World Titles - in the same sentence!) then it was a total and utter bomb. Scott Steiner was a complete waste of time. Did you see any of his WCW tage team matches? Because him and his brother Ric were one of the most dominant tag teams the last twenty years and very legitimate tag team champions. But if you are talking about singles titles than I guess I agree with you. As a singles wrestler, Scott IMHO was more upper midcard type. |

Only a 2. They built him up nicely with his debut and the feud with Triple H leading to the Rumble. Sadly, that awful match killed any momentum he had. And let's not forget the "wonderful" Test/Steiner feud.

It was a dismal run from the top all the way to the bottom, but it sure was filled with a lot of HEH?'s, Everybody knows, wants to know's, and a political debate featuring Scotty, and a classic video on YouTube so a 4 at most

Awful, both he and WWE's fault. His fault for being a botch machine at the time, and WWE's fault for not building him up properly infront of WWE audiences before feeding him to Triple H.

10.... for all the wrong reasons. I enjoyed his promos with Triple H, I really did. I am probably in the minority that is a fan of Steiner, despite his unintentional hilarity. If anything, that makes me just like him more.
That said, his WWE run wasn't very good, but it wasn't horrible either, outside some horrible matches, it was still good, in my mind, to see a former-WCW star pushed pretty high in WWE. I gave it a 6.
