Here is an interesting one...would the scratch wwf symbol be blurred if it was not the same style as the wwe symbol? because earlier versions (pre WM 98) are not blurred. hmmmmmmmmm

I think the lawsuit specifically objected to the attitude era and any association of that with the panda.

The blurs aren't bad, you don't even notice, especially if you happen to be watching the wrestlers and not the turnbuckles. I ain't spending 9 weeks on-line hunting down the best price for an old VHS copy of the Royal Rumble so I can't see blurs and Maven's theme music is there. It's not like Led Zeppelin 4 being re-released with Stairway out and My Humps by Fergie put in it's place. Well, not everyone may feel the same way. I do watch the wrestlers, but still I'd rather have a version that's untouched, and unblemished. I was able to find DVD's of Royal Rumble 99 and 2000 online a few weeks back without the blurs on them. And it doesn't take that long to find a copy online anyways if that's what you were making reference to. To each his own I guess.

I have the WM VHS and whil I like them, The video and tracking is horrible. I am going to buy both sets soon so I have a good copy. Because I need my WM2 with Bulldogs V Dream Team.

£150 was overpriced for it? Funny, going on local retail or even internet shops, that's what...half price at least?
If the editing is seriously that annoying to you, then feel free to sniff out old videos, it's your time, not mine.

Well, as I said to someone else earlier, it's not as hard as you would think to obtain such videos/DVD's. Hardly a trying task if you know the right people.

Or, if you don't mind some blurring which isn't going to go away no matter how much people rant about it (and hey, I know it sucks, and it is indeed annoying but I chose to just suck it up) it's one easy purchase, without even needing to know the right people.

To each his own I guess. I don't think it's a matter of sucking it up personally, I didn't like those versions, so I sought out the original copies for less and in some cases for free. Why would I buy a copy of a DVD that I know I couldn't enjoy fully? It took a bit of time, but not as bad as some would make it out to be. I know it's not going to go away, so I just choose not to buy it and get the unedited copy.

Most WWF/E PPV's, both the live airings and original video releases, are very easily accessible through DVD if you know the right people, and much cheaper than going out and buying the WWE (re)releases. That's my point. Why settle for less while paying more? It's not about sucking it up, it's about buying something that you'll enjoy instead of buying something just because you feel it's the only alternative and end up not being happy with it in the end. That's why I have no sympathy for people who buy the DVD's and complain about the editing. You should know about that beforehand. If you're OK with the editing, more power to you, but there are other options out there.

I really want it to, but my question is, how annoying is all of the blurs and censors over "WWF" logos? Not as bad as the Wrestlemania set. My only complaint is music changes.

I say its worth it if you love the royal rumble match, like others have said the blur doesn't bother me but f***ing a the music editing drives me nuts.

is haku vs race on there from 89? From what I've heard about the Anthology sets, it is on there.
