Morrison.
Then hopefully they can have an extreme rules/ladder/TLC for Punk's rematch, as that will be the only way to keep yet another match between them fresh.
I like Morrison as champ. Sometimes they don't have to get huge reactions to be better for business. Ratings were consistant when Punk was chasing, as they simply pay to see Morrison lose at they don't like him. That simple.
I don't know who will win, but I would like to be Morrison, just so we can see that ladder/extreme rules match. Corkscrew moonsault off a ladder through a table would be a fantastic moment. If Punk does retain though, maybe it can give Burke a good heel run with the belt, he would provide something fresh to the scene if built up accordingly over the next 2 months or so.

I sure hope they don't give up on Punk just yet... at least have the belt on him until he turns heel, then see how it goes.

My hope:
Punk retains- Then he appears on ECW, cuts a great promo about being straight edge, this sets up a potential angle with Edge due to talent exchange. Edge helps Morrison win the title a tnext PPV and now we have multiple feud choices.
Morrison wins- Then Punk goes to Smackdown and cuts a promo about losing the ECW title and that he still feels the need to prove himself. MVP barges in and begins to cut a promo against Punk and how he is better than Punk. Punk and MVP now trade words. Matt Hardy comes to the ring to remind MVP that he is cleared this week and wouldn't mind getting a IC title shot. MVP says that MVP needs a warm up match. When then get Punk vs Matt Hardy that goes to a 15 minute time limit draw.

The Miz interferes - DQ. Match between the three set up for Survivor Series, where Morrison will win it back.

Maybe they figure they can give Punk some good challengers from SmackDown now.
I just wish the SmackDown characters weren't so cartoony.

neither, since ECW and Smackdown are one brand, theres no point in having two world titles. So i think the Punk-Morrison match will end up in a double pin and the title will be vacated. So then CM Punk and John Morrison will go for the US title.
