I'm going to need a clarification of what, "He's in Flair territory" means.

It was pretty bad around here right after Summerslam. You'd think he was beating up old ladies in wheelchairs and punching sick puppies in the ribs the way he was being chastized on these forums.

I'm going to need a clarification of what, "He's in Flair territory" means. My guess is that it means he's a legend who can do no wrong.

To me, Trips is crossing the line to Flair Territory, except he can still put on great matches (being like 20 years younger than Ol' Ric helps ), and if he wants he can get himself booed out of town. Maybe most fans have understood his dedication and his passion for the biz, and all the crap about backstage politicking, burials and glass ceiling is slowly going away. Sure, somebody will always bitch about him not putting over everyone and his mum, but I think HHHate has died down a lot.

Cena is not the new HHH, he hasn't been that way for many months. I recall most of us starting to like him as the calendar year has went on. As for what is hated the most, I would pick TNA's booking crew and management for recieving nuclear heat from the IWC.

I was indifferent to most of the HHHate when it was at its peak. Frankly, I'm glad it's gone now.
Hopefully Cena will get the same treatment.

Some people like him, some people don't. Speculate all you want, but that's the simple way it is.

For most of his career, you were supposed to loathe him considering he was a mega-heel.

Just so long as he's still one of the best in the world, he's not getting any hate from me.

He's like a comfortable old T-shirt. But when you look at the holes and stains in it that just won't come out, you KNOW you don't want to be seen wearing that thing, so you only wear it around the house?
Something like that.

When he first married Steph, it seems he let the power get to his head and had the promotion more focused around him.
However, he hasn't held the title in 3 years (not counting for an hour at Cyber Sunday) and seems to be letting other people have a chance with it. Now that he's backed off a little and it's not "All HHH, all the time" he's actually quite enjoyable. And he needed to turn face because he was getting very stale as a heel.
Now WWE seems to be shoving Cena down our throats, so he's the new HHH, although he didn't politic his way there.

I've always viewed HHH as someone who got to the top not through merrit but due to the fact that everyone else had left/retired. It's not to say he isn't main event talent but his overkill which began around 2003 was because there was simply nobody else left.

I'll never like him. The longer he sticks around, the less I'll like him. I'm sorry.
