With Masters' recent release there's been a lot of talk of a significant (and temporary) drop in muscle mass for which he was publically ridiculed in the ring by the likes of HHH.
Supposedly this was followed by an equally significant "bulk up" on the part of the Masterpiece. Does anyone have any before or after images of this during this period? I'm really curious to see the difference.

Masters upon his WWE debut and basically the look he had right before his release.... Masters, in his feud with Super Crazy, upon returning to Raw from his stint in rehab.....

Chris Masters looks kind of like a ripped Kevin James.

I think he looked a lot better when he was smaller because he came across as more realistic.
I mean, I actually liked the guy for one reason or another, but he was just freakishly big in the beginning.

I started not hating him after his return. Same here. His work with Super Crazy brought out the best in both of them.

Wow, that's one hell of a difference. I remember noticing the size difference, but it looks a lot more pronounced when you see it side by side.

The whole HHH debacle made Masters look like a somewhat tragic figure in wrestling. And we all like tragedies, No, really now, he looked a lot more realistic when he wasn't all the bulked up. His stint with Crazy was really top-notch (and way better than his Wrestlemania 22 match, BTW) El Cernex

He was starting to get decent work with Palumbo, but that was really a mismatch. They're way too similar in size and style for it work well, in my opinion.

I said it before and I will not get tired to repeat it again and again and again and again and again.... HHH (or should I say "HGH"?) is the one to ridicule someone else for taking steroids... When he came to WWF he was a scrawny 220 lbs guy and suddenly... yeah, training methods, eh? And even being a "wannabe-bodybuilder" (Jim Hellwig is right in this case) HHH never managed to have the ripped look that real bodybuilders in Pro Wrestling like Hellwig himself and Lex Luger had. HGH is on the safe side when it comes to drug testing. Maybe he'll serve a suspension to make the drug testing seem legit, but he will never ever get fired. BUT, he will ever be a good bodybuilder. Ridicule other wrestlers all you want, HGH, but then look at the Ultimate Warrior and you will look at what you never EVER were able to look like despite all your vain attempts!

Chris Masters looks kind of like a ripped Kevin James. Which is more realistic: Pro wrestling or believing that Kevin James could score a wife like Leah Remini on King of Queens?

Honestly, the most realistic physique I have seen from a big man is Bobby Lashley. The guy screams thick and symmetric.

I don't know how Lashley gained 100 pounds while still looking ultra ripped in the military, but that is one hell of an accomplishment.

You know, I would be kind of surprised is Lesner was on roids. You'd think he would of been outed by now. Besides, he looks more like his dad is Goro from Mortal Kombat than being on roids.
Triple H would be surprising, but he could go either way. He does spend an insane amount of time in the gym.
