From what I've seen these past few weeks, I feel like they might go ahead and re-create Montreal in Orton vs. Michaels, for no apparent reason.
- Michaels and Vince were talking about how Shawn "hasn't changed" and his "rotten soul". HBK wants to be the WWE Champion more than anything, and he's willing to do anything. Also, Vince subtly mentioned Survivor Series as being an aptly named PPV.
- Vince's conversation with Regal, the week before DX reunited. The way he said it, it sounded like Vince had something up his sleeve. Why would Vince reunite DX in the first place? He's supposed to hate them, remember. Big Show's ass and stuff.
- HBK is not allowed to use the Sweet Chin Music. Which either means he'll bring back the Teardrop Suplex, or maybe use the Sharpshooter...
Meh, I dunno. I wouldn't put it past them.

"Miami" doesn't sound quite as imposing as "Montreal" does, plus they already did "Montreal" in St Louis and Detroit over the last 10 years, and probably a few other places too.

They did "Montreal" in Montreal three years ago at Backlash, when Benoit made Michaels tap out to the Sharpshooter.

Shawn turning heel to win the title by aligning himself with Vince, thus turning on HHH?

Nah. We, the viewers and Crappers are so "hip" to things nowadays, most of us would just expect it as a swerve or angle and wouldn't appreciate what was happening.
We're wiser for remembering.

I'm not quite following. Neidhart coming in and hitting HBK for revenge would actually be pretty cool. Maybe something like hitting an Anvillizer and costing him the match. "Payback's a bitch."

But then in ten years' time, you hear that Nattie and Shawn's older son fell in love and married.

Maybe he could just bring Nattie in, and you could have a little mini angle where guys try to hit on her, and after she leaves, he kind of appears behind them and kicks their ass.

WWE seems to redo the screwjob ending every two years or so, each time being less clever than the last. The last one I remember was at Saturday Night's Main Event a few weeks before WM22. Shane McMahon put HBK in the Sharpshooter, and Vince called for the bell.
I think we're about due for another one.

I would love that ending, but now that we've mentioned it, it won't happen, so THANKS A LOT.

Maybe it will be a reverse screwjob screwing shawn. shawn should have orton in a submission hold and shawn should be so into it he taps 3 times, right before orton would tap, so everyone would see orton tapping, but shawn actually "tapped" right before he did. have shawn celebrate and have vince say shawn tapped before orton did and reverse the decision.

I will be in attendance for SS in Miami, and I truly hope they do not do another fake screw job. It really just needs to be put to rest. The only thing I could see is if HBK screwed over Orton and Vince somehow, and turned Heel, or at least a fan favorite with an edge like he used to be. Doubt it though.

Okay, here's how it goes down.
Shawn has Orton in the sharpshooter and he's ready to tap out. Bret's music plays, Shawn lets go of Orton. Shawn stands up and looks toward the entrance ramp.
Shawn turns around and gets hit by the RKO and pinned. After the pin Vince power walks out laughing as Randy and Vince celebrate.
Shawn screwed Shawn!
I was going to have this become the debut of 222 but... nah. 222 needs to take on Santino.

The only thing that would make that better would be if Bret walked out and stared down HBK..distracting him...giving Orton the chance to hit him with Sweet Chin Music...and pin him. The ultimate screwjob. Orton could use the SCM to get the win and not be DQ'd. This is probably stupid.
