Ok,so Ive noticed a lot of HHH hate coming back on the site now, even after most were GAGGING for his return, and it got me thinking.Well first off I should say Im a huge HHH mark, and dont think there has been a single match of his that I havent really enjoyed. But when you look back at 2002 up to today, and all the people that have left the WWE (especially in 2002),I ask you one question (and admittedly this is mainly refering to PPV's),even with all his SUPPOSED backstage politics, supposed burials, holding talent down and all the usual........at the end of the day, when the chips are down,is there really anyone better than HHH to continuosly provide us with great matches???Is there anyone else that you could thrust into the main event just like that in an emergency or whatever and have them garner as much money, interest and as good a match as someone else on the roster full time???Now I realise that that was 2 questions but eh,sue me lol.On a side not, forgetting his matches with Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash which I know 99.9% people hate (except me),can you name a PPV match of his that is not watchable from his 2002 return till now???Ok,rant over, look forward to the responses now and no doubt a nice grilling from lots of people.Oh,and yeah,I know that turned into 3 questions.

It's probably more down to attitude fans expecting title changes more often than during Trips reign (Or Cena's for that matter)
To be honest I was far more interested in the constant main event changes between say Rock, Lesnar and Undertaker, Austin and Angle back in the day. Than the seemingly never ending title reigns of HHH, Cena or even JBL. Heck back when it was the HelmsleyMacmahon reign so many of my mates were fed up of Triple H as champion, it got to the point were we didn't care who beat him, just that someone did.
Frequent (Say every two to four month) title changes are exciting. Long unending title reigns become stale.

huh? Cena, Mysterio or Edge (sometimes Taker too) also provide us with great matches, MVP or CM Punk WOULD provide us with great matches if they were main eventers...and Cena IS a bigger draw nowadays than HHH, Batista and Taker have about the same "drawing power" than HHH (if not more), so there goes another one of your theories...
what does it matter though? it´s your opinion/taste and there´s nothing wrong with that...HHH is a good wrestler (used to be great, pre-2002), he´s a nice draw, and a man clinging to his spot (just like Flair, Hogan, Michaels, Hart etc. back in the days)

1 answer for 3 questions: NO
People can bitch til the end of times about Trips having a stranglehold on RAW's main event during his "reign of terror", but the fact is: WWE were losing established Superstars at an alarming rate while failing to replace them with convincing substitutes. So, in an emergency situation, where most Big Names were gone and New Big Names weren't exactly flourishing as quickly and nicely as expected, Triple H more or less "carried" the brand as the sole 100% Main Eventer.
WWE tried to bring in old guys and new guys, but in the end, Triple H was the only guy they could trust 100%
Proof is: as soon as WWE found Batista and Cena, Triple H has put both of them over. It could have been the same for Orton, but the bland face turn killed him.

if it was 2-4 months, Lashley / Umaga / Khai would of been WWe champs and Cena woulda Rocky Balboaed them in the Rematch like he did to MR T
