He was injured on July 17th 2007. He announced he'd be gone for four months. Do the math. That makes it come out to this coming week (saturday to be exact). Therefore, he either makes his anticipated return at SS or at SD!. Personally, I'd like him to showup and cost Botchtista the title in the HIAC or cost Taker the title. Then put the belt back on him and all is right on SD!

I thought this was assumed with the whole SS commercial/poster. Either way, I'm looking forward to his return.

I thought this was assumed with the whole SS commercial/poster. Either way, I'm looking forward to his return. Not really seeing as how they haven't offically announced he was coming back then. Also, that poster/spot has been around since before he got injured. |

WWE seems fairly hooked on holding off for big name talent to return on PPV as of late.

There was one news blurb about Edge returning before Jericho (and obviously you can't have both return at the same time).
And while that Survivor Series poster has been around forever, Edge's picture is STILL utilized on the Survivor Series page of WWE.com. Which makes me pretty sure he'll show up then, with Jericho showing up at a TV show shortly thereafter.

Edge should interfere so Batista wins because whe he was champ he beat Batista so he'll have an easier chance of getting it back from 'Tista than Undertaker. Then Edge/Batista can feud for a bit with Edge winning the title which leads up to Undertaker v Edge for Wrestlemania. Taker wouldn't have to win the Rumble again, the Rumble winner could just be from Raw.

I don't see Taker winning the title again until WM 24, when it's Edge vs. Taker, Streak vs. Streak. I'm dying to see that match. |

I doubt the whole spot has, considering in one SS promo he says 'And I'm just a little bitter' which would suggest the WWE had came up with it after he had to give up his title, adding a cool new heel character trait to him in the process. That alone proves that he will be involved somehow, but do you really think they'd show his face on every single show, building up anticipation of his return if he wasn't coming back? Just because he's on a poster? They'd come up with something else, without doubt. |
