IWC during the attitude era.
For news it can be known as the "rajah.com" era cause there was a bunch of crap out there, I remember sending in totally fake off the wall rumors and in the next couple hours they were posted as FACT!

- WCW underutilized everybody.
- The NWO had run its course
- Sting should go back to being Surfer Sting
- (pre-screwjob) Bret Hart is a whiner (post-screwjob) Bret Hart is the only decent human being in wrestling
- Austin and The Rock are annoying and should be shoved off TV forever
- The Undertaker should retire
- Ric Flair is awesome, but should just be a manager
- What's going on in ECW?
.... basically the main topics of discussion.

I wasn't around for the IWC back then, but that just goes to show ya, that there's always going to be haters no matter how popular the WWF/E is.

I wonder if I could do that today? picture Rajah.com posting 'Steve Austin seen backstage at the Impact tapings!'

Sting and Goldberg would be at the Royal Rumble. I can't believe I fell for that one.

The one thing I remember most was that ECW could do no wrong, ever. I also remember that there were many 13 and 14 year olds writing columns giving their expert opinion on the wrestling scene. I do miss Mr. Tito Bahahahahaha. Oh Tito ... I hated that guy.. The blind ECW love was a little crazy. However, 3/5ths of the people that blindly praised ECW back then never had seen ECW outside of a few clips and just read results. It's how ROH would've been if there wasn't high bandwidth streaming sites these days. I think I was one of the few people outside of Philly that actually got Hardcore TV back then. I was lucky. But once ECW got on TNN.. there was a lot of negative commentary towards ECW by a lot of people because people actually saw it. And without the Hardcore TV style.. it was harder to hide the negatives.

I remember, before ECW went onto TNN they used to show Hardcore TV on Channel 38 (Which was oddly our UPN back then!) at 1 AM on Saturday Nights. I actually had an active social life back then so I think I was actually home to watch it once!

I seemed to recall that Vampiro was always crazy over with the IWC. I also remember there was serious concern that Russo and Ferrara would turn WCW around.

I bet anyone who complained about those days wishes they were back...
Especially the idiots that acted like the Rock was an annoying no talent fool, I wonder how much they regret that shit now.

The biggest difference I remember was that there were alot more "news" sites feeding BS rumours like whose jumping where, who died, who's causing s*** backstage. It got hard to seperate fact from truth for a while. Ya really don't see as much of that now. The amount of bitching and moaning going on was pretty much the same, except instead of people bitching about both major promotions (WWE, TNA) and loving the underdog indy (ROH), people always drew the line in the sand and loved one or the other (WWF or WCW) and hated the other. Every did still love the underdog indy tho (ECW)
