I thought he was booked well in WCW. I saw him as a mid/upper midcard guy and he was booked in the same league as Benoit and Booker. They tauted him as a stiff, rugged brawler with pure wrestling skills. He had some really cool moves: Finlay Roll and the Spike Tombstone. I'll admit things weren't as great for him when Russo was brought in and they started the Hardcore Championship scene, which in some ways led to his long hiatus from the ring.

He is a high midcard veteran with great skills, I remember watching some of his stuff late in WCW and I thought it was awesome. (Showing of the toliet to insult someone was funny too.)

because he works a cool style that's pretty stiff. I only saw part of Smackdown on friday, but did you see him take that 619 from Rey? It looked like he took it right in the face. I think the fact that he makes it look so legit makes him more interesting to watch.

Finlay is fun to watch. I wish he wasn't stuck as midcarder for life though, he could have been given a title reign instead of someone like Kahli.

His match with Rey was awesome the other night. Put the title on that guy A.S.A.P!

Finlay has been tremendous since he returned as an active wrestler. Amazingly he even managed to get a midget over. True, true. Also, he basically became respected backstage in WWE by all the right people. Trish, Batista, and MANY more hold him in a very respectful light.

I really got into him during his three-way feud over the TV Title with Benoit and Booker. Ever since joining the 'E though, he's gotten very impressive. I LOVE TO FIGHT! YEAH, FINLAY!!!

yea i think that WCW just didnt use him correctly How did they misuse him? Because he wasn't winning World Titles or something? He was a solid midcarder who had feuds with the likes of Regal, Benoit and Booker. Won the TV title, and had a decent run with it. People make it seem like he was wrestling in dark matches only or something.

IDK he was US and HC champion (yeah the latter one doesn´t really count), but he had a nice midcard position in WCW, IMO
never thought he´d do so well on SD! I loved his run so far, great on the mic, awesome in-ring performer, and always hated (but also respected) wherever SD is at

I love how creative he is. Seems like every match he'll incoporate some part of the ring or something outside of the ring against his oppoment. He also has great psychology and it's nice how even Michael Cole will talk about this. Seems like he can legitimately have a good match with ANYONE, too; From Batista to Matt Hardy.
So yeah, Finlay is approximately 182 flavours of awesome.

He's been booked so perfectly that when he loses, the other guy looks like a star, and if he wins the other guy looks like a star for hanging with him. He also someone who can work anywhere on the card and have it believable. He could lose to Matt Hardy one week, and win the Heavyweight title the next and it would be believable

Two things: 1) If you ever want your mind blown, check out some of his matches from the early 80's. It's bizarre to see how he's changed over the years. 2) It was even more apparent when Lashley and Booker were both on, but have you noticed that everybody on Smackdown is some sort of caricature, whereas Raw is just straightforward white people (okay, I'll grant you Santino, Carlito, and Shelton. But who beyonc that?)
