Sandman has the weakest cell phone ringtone ever. I think its the same as my mother-in-laws.
(You can hear it at 7:49 on vid 3)

You know, as I watch this, how terrible does he look and act? Good lord, he has his eyes shut most of the interview, drinking who-knows-what out of a Taco Bell cup, chokin' down a heater in front of his kid. No wonder he doesn't even know how old he is.
For some reason, I don't see someone like Triple H or Edge looking or acting like this buffoon in "real" life.

I think Sandman might be talking about SummerSlam 2002 or '03 where Metallica was the featured artist for the event.

How is it that ECW was allowed to use Metallica's Enter Sandman, but Vince couldn't or didn't want to afford it?

I like how Sandman says he only lost three times in ECW, leaving out his losses to Kevin Thorn and Snitsky...

Is he stoned, or Drunk, or Stoned Drunk? Sandman is always stoned. Him and Raven don't remember a lot of stuff that happened in their careers because of the amount of drugs they took back then.

And for some reason, in ECW, such drug use is considered cool, while in WWF, it's considered the fault of Vince.

Yeesh, after listening to this interview in full, my respect level for The Sandman went from virtually zero to through the roof. He came off as TREMENDOUSLY intelligent. He was rolling through figures, had a very level-headed and reasonable view towards pretty much every topic, and has a better grasp of American history than I probably ever will.
And people are complaining that he forgot a handful of matches that happened and other useless details. 'Oh, he forgot this date when he worked Mike Knox, what a bum!'
I think, perhaps, that some of you need to listen to the words coming out of his mouth rather than the manner in which they come out.

I have a lot of respect for him for not burying anyone, even when talking about guys with little experience or bad reputations. He's got nothing bad to say about anyone, and you just don't run by that much in the business.

Oddly enough, I had no problem understanding him in the whole interview ... but smoking like he does will kill your voice. Maybe I'm just used to listening to smokers.

I didn't have any problems with his voice, either. Vader, however, you could barely hear his voice, the tone was pretty low. Vader in his shoot came off as a polite guy.

From what I've heard, despite his stiffness in the ring, Vader is one of the nicest guys on the planet. Like a big teddy bear that will beat the crap out of you and then apologise afterwards.
In relation to the Sandman interview, is anyone surprised to hear Johnny Ace and Stephanie McMahon painted in such a good light? After all the garbage I've heard about them, it's wierd hearing a guy say that they were cool to him and helped him out with anything he needed.
And hearing him talk about frontal lobes and cerebrums was just ... surreal. I really need to make an effort to not judge people based on first impressions.

My cousin always told me about him crying in the back when he broke his back and that Vader was the first guy that saw him in the hospital, if I remember right. And I wasn't really shocked to hear Steph painted in a good light, because despite making some really dumb business decisions, she does seem like a nice person. I was shocked to hear him put Ace over as much as he has. He's the only guy I can remember really putting over Ace like that.
